  1. That Bugatti is one of the best ones. Beautiful subject.
  2. Oh man, your attention to details is paying off big time. This is turning out to be a great model.
  3. Again, for me Fotki has worked remarkably well.
  4. Two beauties, that's for sure. Great job.
  5. This thing is going to be wicked! Can't wait to see more!
  6. A pair of winners! Love the engine details.
  7. Wow, it's going to be a monster!
  8. Kool build. I love the pitting on the blade. Very nice work.
  9. Very interesting. Looking forward to more.
  10. Ed, I think they make great model subjects.
  11. Oh yeah, man, a great photo background like this one goes a long ways. It makes both shiny and weathered models look great. Keep having fun! Yes, LONG LIVE RUST!
  12. Funny you mention that because I call it the curse of the painted body. I always try (these days) to paint the body last because I have so many painted a body and then I lose interest. So it goes. I think this one deserves to be finished.
  13. I was doing a little bit of cleaning up recently, and I found an issue of CAR MODELER (March 1996, Volume 6, Number 6) which features work by Juha Airio's (1973 Pointiac Grand Am) and also a scratchbuilding model that Pat Covert collaborated on with Ken Hamilton, a "Logger's Mule Boom Rig." This issue in particular really launched Doctor Cranky into a life of rust, gunk, and junk! If you have it, check it out, and if you don't I am sure you can find old issues of Car Modeler on the internet. What's your treasure?
  14. Wow, Tony, beautiful pictures . . . it's pure eye candy. You know Doctor Cranky goes cuckoo for rust and gunk, the diorama is a great photo op back drop!
  15. John, that paint job is amazing. And my favorite part of the build is the engine bay, the eye pours over all the great details. Another masterpiece, chap.
  16. Oh, that Cobra's a beauty! Thank you all for keeping me inspired and CRANKED UP. Please keep 'em coming!
  17. It looks like you got the hang of it and all your models are going to benefit from it. Congrats.
  18. Nice paint job. I also love the stance!
  19. Keep it going, it's looking good.
  20. Thanks, chaps . . . yes, I am NOT in desperate need of one (it's just a hankerin', as Doctor Cranky would call it), but I certainly would like to have one in my collection just to feel 1970s complete! LOL. These are very cool vans indeed. Thanks for your help.
  21. Congratulations, buddy. Have a great time.
