  1. Does anyone know whatever became of Leon? He ran Cobra Colors for a while and then? Any updates? I always loved his models, in particular a GTO he built that still remains one of the most impressive models I've ever seen. Thank you.
  2. Niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
  3. Wow, pure eye candy. THANK YOU!
  4. Where's the NNL in November, Tonio?
  5. I've always liked this car.
  6. Your frames (and models) are pure work of art, Romell!
  7. Interesting so far, hope you get more done to it soon.
  8. Excellent collection of great-looking models. Wow. Congrats.
  9. Ooh, I love this. The first time I saw this technique used was in article written by Ken Hamilton. Rommel, you've taken it a step further by using real metal. Nice!
  10. Love this topic! Thanks for keeping the dialogue going.
  11. The other thing I will say is that for people living in rural communities, shopping on line is the way to go. Of course, now that they are planning on closing 3,700 post offices, I don't know what that will mean for the price of shipping.
  12. Absolutely, it saves time, money, and headaches . . . in particular once you get a list of reliable and professional stores on line!
  13. Derrick: can you please tell us how you photograph your models, camera and equipment you use, etc., I really appreciate it. I ask because I really like the quality of your photos. Thanks!
  14. LOL! I've been surrounded by kids all summer and not a ONE has expressed any interest in anything that is not electronic, i.e., phone, computer, game platform. But I, like most of us, keep the faith that there are KIDS out there who will find the hobby and have their lives changed forever.
  15. Nice builds and models.
  16. Actually to get deeper grooves, use a hobby knife to score the plastic . . . it's looking good, please keep it going.
  17. The discussion continues to be very refreshing and entertaining, thank you!
  18. Mark, yes, it all trickles down to the rest of us . . . which is great.
  19. Congratulations! You have some fun and rewarding years ahead! Enjoy!
  20. Pure eye candy, Roger. Thanks for bringing this to us. WOW!
  21. Yes and no, Harry. I think sometimes one enters a competition to bring up the number. I understand this one is large to begin with because it's nation wide, but let's say you belong to a club and so it behooves everyone to enter just to keep the blood flowing. I do agree that one does enter a contest to compete, pure and simple, but there's also the fun and excitement of everything the competition entails.
  22. Very cool, Bill. I can't wait to see the results in place.
