    Wow, has anybody been checking out the price for circa 70s vans? I'm looking for a 73 and I just can't believe the prices! Perhaps it's time they brought one back just to quiet the hankering of many of us.

    Interesting findings, but not surprising. I didn't shop on line for a few years because of the usual fears of giving strangers personal information, etc . . . but things have become a lot easier, and I find the older I get, the less Iike going out to pick up stuff I need.

    BTW--I want to point out to everyone that there's been a great improvement of the covers in the last couple of years. Now you can single-out MCM out of the lineup from 20 feet away. Thanks, Harry.

    I have to confess other than the "glue bombs" I've built myself, I've never done one of these. I think the level of pride and satisfaction must be through the roof! Enjoying this thread immensely.

    Yes it is, it's one of the better rattle can paint systems.

    I guess we all have a right to leave the hobby whenever we want or for whatever reason, but he sure built some nice models. If anyone has access to an old web page or pictures of his work, please share them . . . thank you.

    I avoid all those problems by mocking up and mocking up, and then modifying if need be. Mocking up saves you a lot of heartaches and headaches.

    Well, percentage wise, that gives you clear idea of how many youngsters are in the hobby. Very few.
