  1. I am loving where this one's headed! More, more, more . . .
  2. LOL, you know how it ended up like this? Every time I thought I would build a tank or a Gundam or something like that I would get the idea to build another Post Apocalypse vehicle and I would rob parts from the kits, and then suddenly I realized how many kits I had ruined. Well, they are not really ruined, they've just become part of Doctor Cranky's Lab-RAT-ory's styrene morgue!
  3. We've always had them in our family. They are a bit temperamental at times, but they are cute too . . . Here's the final installment before Doctor Cranky reveals his new build in raw styrene . . .
  4. Pure eye candy. Keep it going . . . your wonderful imagination is showing!
  5. We are getting closer . . . http://www.youtube.com/user/damncranky666?feature=mhum
  6. The project is already underway. I am taking still pics right now . . . stay tuned in for more. Actually, EYEGORE's real name is Salty Spice Chiwawa Powa, and it's a female . . . she's been in our family now for 15 years. We love her of course because she's our alarm dog!
  7. Here's a little teaser I put together just to get Doctor Cranken-sh-tein CRANKED UP! Stay tuned in for more . . . .
  8. Very cool. I want to see more . . . LONG LIVE RUST!
  9. Wow, you have a whole production line set up. I am liking them all . . . and can't wait to see more.
  10. Yes, yes, more, more . . . this one is looking good. I can't wait to see it painted.
  11. I've always like Falcons. They were ugly but lasted a good long time. The 69 Dodge Dart was like that too.
  12. Love it, it works, it fits in perfectly.
  13. Lee, no need to apologize, buddy . . . everyone is entitled to their opinion, and this forum allows everyone such expression, so no need. Cheers, D. Cranky.
  14. Looking good, take your vitamins and keep it going.
  15. Great photos, and the vehicle too is very cool.
  16. I just want to see more. It's a great kit and I am interested in the colors you've chosen. Keep it going, chap.
  17. Okay, I ran to the market for a 10 pound bag of popcorn, so I am ready to watch this one all the way through to the end. You got me glued to the screen . . . well, what are you waiting for? Well? This thing is AMAZING! Go! Go! Go!
  18. Lee, with all due respect since I don't know where you are coming from with this, I have to tell you that this magazine, like any other, has a right to toot it's own horn in terms of the good work it is doing. AND as a magazine it also has the right to compare itself to any other source that brings the same or similar content to its subscribers and viewers. In short, my post HAS NOTHING--I repeat NOTHING--to do with whatever magazine you are bringing up. It has to do with the contents in issue #154 of MODEL CAR MAGAZINE.
  19. Mike, I've been using Vallejo Model Air acrylics these last few months, and I have to say I love them. Easy to use, clean, and store . . . my only complaint is that they should have more colors out in the Model Air line. I have their GAME COLOR set, so I've been thinning some other colors. They flow smooth and give you great coverage without too much paint going on . . . I still love my Floquil railroad colors too. Lots of good choices.
  20. For anyone wondering what the difference is between MCM and other car model magazines on the market, all you have to do is check out Jairus Watson's rendition of the newly minted WILDHARE shopping cart. It's the kind of article that is not only pure entertainment and eye candy, but totally inspiring. It's fun, it's well written and illustrated. It has personal touches. In short, it's the kind of article that Yours Truly would love to see more of, and would pay top (subscription) dollars for. Or, as DOCTOR CRANKY, would put it, it's what keeps the Styrene Gods so well pleased! And the rest of #154 ain't too shabby. Chuck Most--who is not only prolific but so young and full of model-building fun!--hits the ball out of the park with some nifty scratch building that will put big smiles on a rat rod. Thanks Count C.! And the Big Kahuna (and Drew H.) show they can build a pair of midgets with class and pizzaz! And to master puppeteer behind the scenes (Harry P), I say keep pulling your strings and thanks for the great layouts. WANT MORE? EH? WANT MORE? It's headed your way!
  21. Can't wait to see how your water drops turn out Mike!
  22. Thanks everybody. I had a great day and ended it with a fine dinner with the family and friends. Cheers.
  23. Oooh, I likes it, I likes it!
  24. I raise my goblet of CRANKY SAUCE to all of you. And this is the year, before I hit half a century of debauchery and madness, that I know all of you will work twice as hard to create more eye candy to keep Old Dr. Cranky styrene addicted. THANK YOU!
  25. Thanks, Joe. Stay tuned in for more fun vids in the coming days and weeks.
