  1. John, this is a beautiful model. If you don't mind I am copying the photos to include them in the next TZH Squad Caravan Video Update. Keep it going, it's going to be a winner.
  2. Beautiful model. Love the graphics and stripes.
  3. I still love this thread. Love it for all the amazing eye candy you guys keep posting.
  4. I just have an old 55 Chevy 210, the money pit. In my mind though, my garage is as big as Jay Leno's. LOL!
  5. I would much rather have a hobby store near by regardless of how owns it or what the new owners have named it. I think they probably kept the same name of the sake of recognition, etc . . . I don't know, my opinion is that it is better to have one than not. Consider yourself lucky, many people don't have a store anywhere near them.
  6. Man, you have really perfected this technique. I love it. Great results.
  7. Nice, keep it going.
  8. Eye candy? Eye candy?
  9. Yeah, I knew you were going to say that, and I am going to put lots of detail on this one. The way I am imagining it, this vehicle belong to a crazy Mad Scientist doctor (ahem, ahem) who got it and restored it, of course he started with a big hemi engine, pretty new all around, then he painted the body and made it shiny and put everything on a frame and chassis that will eventually need to be restored. The wheels are getting weathered in preparation for the chassis which I paint tomorrow. This one is coming along rather slow, but I am relishing this build. How could I not, it's a 41 Willys.
  10. Congratulations on another wonderful model, Mr. Kron. The Avalon looks perfect on the Salt.
  11. Getting everything ready now for primer and then paint. If only I'd get better weather, but I am going to shoot the primer no matter what tomorrow.
  12. That paint looks fantastic.
  13. Well, let's hope those of us who've clocked over 20 years of building models, doing art, etc . . . will reap some benefits. I don't want to live to be a 100, but I definitely want to keep my moxy for as long as the old body lasts.
  14. And the medical community too. I think many of us have known all along that building models keeps your hand-eye coordination and your brain engaged. Here's an interesting article I think many of us would agree with. Yes? http://www2.revell.c...une_feature.pdf
  15. Lordy, I love that see through grill. Nice touches throughout.
  16. Thanks, Todd, yes, it's going to have some big pipes coming out from the sides and UP, UP, UP!
  17. Yes, it is. I have a couple of copies and I will build one, or two, or three, or four . . . you never know that crazy bug will hit me.
  18. As you can see, I've built a roll cage a little different than what comes in the kit just for a little variety. I've also been working on the engine with some aluminum parts and big cars from MCG. We are getting close to primer now . . .
  19. This frame really give this build it's attitude as well as it's stability . . . I tell you I am IN LOVE with this kit. Revell hit a GRANDSLAM with this one for sure.
  20. Okay, here's some . . . I've been using my iPhone camera out of laziness . . . I'm very excited because I was able to lift the boddy for tire clearance without having to raise the engine . . . which is very cool, I think.
  21. Another beauty, Jim. Great build. You are on a roll. A Shiny Model Roll!
  22. LOL! You are giving me a taste of my own medicine, eh? LOL!
  23. Very cool.
  24. Love the torn pant effect. Nice.
  25. Excellent color, and love the SKULLS!
