  1. Back when I was still a bar going young man they could still smoke in the bars here. Every night when I would get home even at 3am the coat would go on a hook on the front porch to air out. This was from 3 to 5 hours in the bar leather just sucks up orders and holds onto them.
  2. Spot on Joe. I have been saying this for a few years, and I get funny looks from people.
  3. I was looking at an ad for Models at Walley World , I thought it funny because the area stores do not carry them but they sell them online. Now it says I can get it with no shipping if I pick it up at the Toledo store.
  4. I have had luck with washing with dawn dish soap. With one kit I washed everything but the paper even the tires that came with the model, had the tires sitting in a ziploc baggie of baking soda for a year and it did nothing to remove the smell. The plastic parts ended up OK just the rubber tires still smelled. I have been told before about the charcoal trick. It even works on a smelly real car.
  5. Bob's paint does chrome work. He is a member on here also. E-mail for Bob's Paint, etc. and Kustom Khrome is bobspaintetc@gmail.com. Facebook is Bob's Paint, etc.
  6. Hello and welcome. You might want to ask around to see if a club is in your area.
  7. I like the look. Bring's back a few memories of a truck that ran around here 20 years ago.
  8. You have been busy picking up a nice stash. Is that a Toledo Scale in the first picture?
  9. Well said Jeff. It may not be a stock version of the car but in reality how many hot rods are stock anyway. Most have body mods of some form or another.
  10. Awesome. Love the Stock version.
  11. Great subject for a nice model.
  12. Roush has been with Ford way back to almost the Model T . LOL Well ok the eary 70's anyway. This will make it closer to Ford And Chevy having equal numbers on the track also.
  13. Being a Ford guy I couldn't care less for three of the drivers in his stable. I am just glad that Tony will not be behind the wheel when it happens. But this is all about the money as NASCAR is from top to the bottom.
  14. All of the GM NASCAR kits have a small block in them. They are also cheap to buy at swap meets.
  15. Looks great , I am glad you did not give up on it.
  16. 1977 is the last issue by AMT. 1992 first issue by Lindberg. This info is from the Directory. That is a long time for a mold sitting in a shop with an unpaid tab on it. Makes you wonder why it was not scrapped out before that and how many more that might have been scrapped.
  17. Nice looking Falcon.
  18. Looks great.
  19. Very close to the same time that These trucks started to have the Lindburg name Michigan passed a law so that a shop could put a lien on tooling for unpaid bills . So I alway thought ti was sitting in a Michigan shop not one in Canada. Learned something new today.
  20. I like it. The last one is a coupe, not a roadster. You can definitely see the improvement you are making through your pictures. Keep up the progress.
