  1. I was discussing your need at work and looking through the catalogs on the shelf to order stuff. I just thought let's see what the pop can thickness is for a reference . We both know how flexible the pop can is not sure how flexible the shim stock would be. We only have brass and steel.
  2. Here in Detroit Tigers area we have cute fans. Kate Upton http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=kate+upton+at+detroit+tigers+game&view=detailv2&&id=7351BAAE2AD9A74725BFC8689702AC24CBED209B&selectedIndex=21&ccid=WctQ84Xl&simid=608019863713875249&thid=OIP.M59cb50f385e5beff35d5c3e2b34beb78o0&ajaxhist=0
  3. So I just opened one of the Lindberg F150 kits and it has the stock tires and wheels. I thought they had the other wheels and tires in the box. hhmmm lol
  4. If it was a tooling issue that had to be repaired with a new slide that might have been the reason. It would have been faster and cheaper to make it smooth with no windows or markings for them.
  5. I stopped in the Monroe MI store at lunch today, not much left. I asked the girl stocking what they had in back and she said nothing. Everything was on the shelf. Then I asked if the boxes came with different kits and she said yes , you do not know what is in the case when you open it. Apparently people were at the store getting kits out of the box before they even hit the shelves. LOL
  6. I have not seen models at Odd Lots for about 10 years around here, and as others have said even then it was not what they used to carry. My last good source for closeouts was KB Toys but then they went under around here.
  7. Tom have you tried just picking up some shim stock? McMaster Carr sells it in 50" and 100" rolls 6" wide. http://www.mcmaster.com/#shim-stock/=11z5euw No more harsh chemicals just cut and polish. I cut open a orange crush can at work and it was .004 thick. Just for a reference for you on thickness.
  8. Jesse I was warned about this last october so I picked up a couple for myself.
  9. Now this is the deal of the week. I sure hope the chrome addon falls off the grill for you also. Seems every kid glued that thing on these trucks.
  10. Sure looks nice.
  11. I have Jim with mixed results. The one close to home is A 15 minute drive in light traffic and the phone call takes like 5 to 10 minutes. It gets me out of the house before work. LOL The one by work I call again mixed results, if the right guy answers I get an answer. Mostly they are too busy to answer with a light staff.
  12. Good idea. I like it.
  13. Our Toledo Store had two airplanes and a small empty section yesterday. Need to stop back in This store normally has models when they run a sale. I think I get the new flyers on tuesdays.
  14. No picture are showing up Mark.
  15. My brother is always going on about the Bell phone trucks around here. His buddy had one in high school and the junk yards had many around here for parts.
  16. I will have to give our local store a visit in the morning.
  17. Still looking good. I like your setup with the before and after car side by side.
  18. Harry they changed our plate cost to go with the Value of the car/truck, because the more it cost makes a pothole. Then one year they raised the price of our plates as of October 1st not Jan !st. So all of us buying plates late in the year paid 5 bucks a plate more than people born earlier in the year. Guy at work says, in Feb I will pay the extra 5 like you just did. I said but that is for the next year not this year.
  19. I called it Southern Rock with the girls singing Southern Pop. I get yelled at all the time.
  20. Nice looking Dart.
  21. Nothing like the look of a dirt bike in the back of a pickup. Very welcome release from AMT. Now how about the odyssee?
  22. We had a little fan at work that had the IMC logo on it. I wonder if it was the same company.
  23. This is going to be cool Pat. I like this idea.
