  1. Harry do not take a chance with your car. It is not worth it. The EPA does not cover your warranty, not that one is still covering your car. The only place to get straight gas here is a Marina. A good friend is a farmer. they laugh about the Ethanol craze. Talking about beets, Sugar beets and squash were a good crop until the local plants shut down. Then a new Ethanol plant was built very close to one of the plants that closed. He was telling me just what Joe said, they sold the corn the the plant then turned around and picked up the bye product for close to nothing to feed the cattle. Now this product does not last forever like dry feed does but the price was right.
  2. I agree with Harry just not sure it would take 3 hours to get the people with cars in and set up. As far as the white board with the number I like that as to hearing more noise in the room. The PA sounding every 1/2 hour makes you not listen to it. If I want to win door prize I watch the board if not I do not, more times than not I give my ticket to a young kids at the show. Good points about the disabled John. I do not think they should get charged more to enter safely. As far as a group of people going in with them no. But they should be allowed one person to help them set up.
  3. Can't sat more than what has already been said Steve. Nice work.
  4. Been to many an all Ford show never found a single chrome wheel on a car, silver and sometimes painted body color, that is not factory btw. Not that I am an expert or anything .
  5. Nice color combo. Looks great.
  6. I sure hope it has the Packo's Decals. Being a local place for me to eat I will need this kit.
  7. Had to drive a hot Job down to a plant the other day for work. 70 mile trip and only about 12 miles was not through the orange barrels and concrete blocks. Now this is the second and third year for a good portion of this drive. Good thing it was in the early AM as more traffic would have drove me crazier than I already am.
  8. Peanut butter on a cracker inside of the trap works fine. Just remember the smallest have a heart trap does not work on a full grown tree rat. there butt keeps the door open. Get your self a pair of the leather gloves that have a cuff over the wrist. Tom made a good point about relocating them as it is not legal here to move them.
  9. Chrome for this computer novice. Works fine.
  10. Greg how much is different with the Little Deuce than what is in the box of this kit now? This is what I see as I have never had the Little Deuce. Grill ,Wheels and Firewall.
  11. I agree with the silver Sharpie it has that flat look. It has a good look to it now and you can always go back and do the trim anytime Miles.
  12. I have a few but as other have said , I only buy the ones I like. Sometimes my brother gives me aset because of 1 cool car in the mix. The great nephew loves the extras no matter what they are. I had the second gen Sizzlers the wide black track oval set up. I remember putting them on my brothers old single orange tracks more. We had many different pieces and parts from those over the years. I will say one thing about the orange single tracks. Mom loved them, the boys in the family would get a crack with our own toy. Mom called them a tricks track. Was that a marketing name from back in the day or because Mom tricked us into a crack with them?
  13. This looks great.Job well done.
  14. This is one different project. I like it.
  15. Could it be the dealers he tows for? My late brother did this for a few years and they had contracts with dealers just like AAA.
  16. I like the look of first picture you posted. But you did say you are going to buy more kits. Build both. The slant six is not in any of the drag themed kits I have picked up.
  17. If I never drank, never went out to eat, only had one hobby or went to support single moms dancing for college money (yeah right) I might have been able to buy a few more plastic kits. 30,000 cars even if they are hot wheels and diecast is a bit much.
  18. I was the last of the 4 boys in the family. So The only new stuff I got was Matchbox and a few Tonka trucks and Tractor toys. But being last in line meant all there stuff was fair game. So slot cars and trains (when they were not home) was also in the mix. as I also had a few (7) sisters people would give my dad their grown kids toy boxes with assorted toys. You would never know what was inside.
