    No, 1985 and well over 100 thousand miles. Engine still ran and it still shifted fine.

    Pizza Hut had these as delivery vehicles around Toledo. I drove a yellow 73 wagon for a while until the rust got the best of it.

    Nice find with these. I think that color on the 63 Bird must have been very popular as that is the color I see for sale most often. Maybe that is the color people do not like.

    Those hubs are looking sweet Steve. You have an eye for detail is see. I have family that moved to Weiser in the late 70's to run a motel. That Old Time Fiddler convention got my Aunt and Uncle in hot water over a few long standing reservations they were not told of when they purchased the business.

    Chris another few places to look is at swap meets at car shows. Guys will sell tools they no longer need. Not sure if it was mentioned but watch the point of free shipping if you buy online. If you pick up supplies rather than pay for shipping it is worth spending a little more.

    Not a surprise the split window had to go as it was a very popular thing to do until they became collectors items.

    Just a guess . Maybe the cost of the licence for the Chevy engine and the Cheetah's body manufacture might be a problem. I would buy a few but that does not make up for the cost of the tooling.

    My Niece has a two boys ( 16 and 14) that dabel in building. Her husband's boy's do not like it. Yes I have asked them all. The 14 year old has the most interest and wants to raid my stash . LOL I get him the Ollies kits as he does not know the difference. Funny how he wants to build the older stuff.
