  1. They sure are. You can use the motor for many different diorama effects.
  2. Welcome aboard from just north of your home state.
  3. Revell 32 Ford Kits, Sedan, 3 window have a carbureted 302. The roadster ( not the David Stacy Green Rat Roadster ) and the 5 window have an injected version. The newer Mustang coupe has a 302 init also.
  4. It is getting close to spring, the start of road work season. One of those flashing signs that say men working ahead? Ok my real guess is a camper.
  5. Bill I was told that KMart corporation started doing the order for all the stores just before the big decline also. A friend's high school buddy was a manager for years and he said the local managers would have a say in what to carry in their store. But with the big switch all the stores received the same thing.
  6. I think that if you have some good castings made these will sell well.
  7. I like the green painted grill shell, Painting the radiator silver and not black would also look good. I love the color you have painted this.
  8. Nice way to use the full resources of plastic world to make a great looking model.
  9. Back when I was still a bar going young man they could still smoke in the bars here. Every night when I would get home even at 3am the coat would go on a hook on the front porch to air out. This was from 3 to 5 hours in the bar leather just sucks up orders and holds onto them.
  10. Spot on Joe. I have been saying this for a few years, and I get funny looks from people.
  11. I was looking at an ad for Models at Walley World , I thought it funny because the area stores do not carry them but they sell them online. Now it says I can get it with no shipping if I pick it up at the Toledo store.
  12. I have had luck with washing with dawn dish soap. With one kit I washed everything but the paper even the tires that came with the model, had the tires sitting in a ziploc baggie of baking soda for a year and it did nothing to remove the smell. The plastic parts ended up OK just the rubber tires still smelled. I have been told before about the charcoal trick. It even works on a smelly real car.
  13. Bob's paint does chrome work. He is a member on here also. E-mail for Bob's Paint, etc. and Kustom Khrome is bobspaintetc@gmail.com. Facebook is Bob's Paint, etc.
  14. Hello and welcome. You might want to ask around to see if a club is in your area.
  15. I like the look. Bring's back a few memories of a truck that ran around here 20 years ago.
  16. You have been busy picking up a nice stash. Is that a Toledo Scale in the first picture?
  17. Well said Jeff. It may not be a stock version of the car but in reality how many hot rods are stock anyway. Most have body mods of some form or another.
  18. Awesome. Love the Stock version.
  19. Great subject for a nice model.
  20. Roush has been with Ford way back to almost the Model T . LOL Well ok the eary 70's anyway. This will make it closer to Ford And Chevy having equal numbers on the track also.
