That is nice. I like the color. Brother had a 68 but it was a 302 car. It was a nice riding car. He sold the front fenders off the car to a guy that had a 428 car. The first I had ever seen one.

Where to find these Crown Vic wheels?

I do agree with the two bodies Bill must have read right over your two bodies comment. My apology on that. I would still build a chopped one if that was all we had. I would think that Revell would do a truck for the 32 they already have and 29 coming out. They already showed a coupe in pictures. At the NNL nationals a few years ago I asked the guy from Revell about a 32 truck he just smiled. I thought that we would have it by now, so I guess that was just a smile in agreement not we are doing it.

Minor or Major position without recourse makes now difference to me. Just because you have a title to your name should not give you a teflon suit.

I feel your pain. How about helping your buddies dad put together a weight bench in a dimly light short basement and one of the nuts is not tapped. Top secret because it is for his younger brothers birthday present ( whom is upstairs ) and his dad is half in the bag. We had a good laugh about it latter but I thought he was going to lose it down there. You are reaching under the thing trying to put the nut on , drop it can not see it so you grab another one . Then you see it on the floor and hand it back and forth between drops . Sometimes being in a hurry does not pay.

G they just handed out the last of the fines for a couple former Toledo Rockets , Football and Basketball players that did just as you said. This was an ongoing court hearing for several years. One of the kids that took money was not even a regular player.

Would that have been printed in the front of the magazine where the writers and editors are mentioned? -
Here is how it works. Regular season each has the same amount of games , they are split between home and away games. The playoffs are held at the home stadium of the team with the best record of the two playing that day. The Super Bowl is held in a predetermined location through a bidding process. It is done a few years before the season starts, yes a Team that plays their home games at the location are able to play there if they make it that to the Super Bowl. It has not happened yet but some day it will.

Tucker kit? YES!
1930fordpickup replied to Jon Cole's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Roger not true. My Grandfather was among the many that put down money for a car. He received his luggage that is all. Gramps was not a car guy but he liked his sail boats. The Tucker has many things that modern cars have on them now. The big three put the squeeze on him. Tucker was a smart guy with big ambition but not enough money. I agree that the car takes some getting used to in the looks department but they all can not be winners. As far as a model kit it would be hard to sell the number of kits to pay for the molds I would think. -

Just for the record I AM A LIONS FAN , wanted to throw that out there . Do not feel bad for me it is my choice . I am just wondering why people are so worried about a few pounds in a football hurting the NFL. Cheaters has been thrown around for months. Yet only a few people during the season came forward with this problem. Yes both teams that were beat by the Pats. No one on the officiating crew mentioned it , they handle the game balls the whole game for both teams why did they not notice the difference. Maybe more than one team was doing this. But this is where the NFL is holding their breath. Why does this investigation take so long, cover up is in the works . Now if you are worried about the CREDIBILITY of the NFL just remember a few things about some other teams. Art Model moved his team from Cleveland to Baltimore for a boat load of money. He gave Cleveland nothing in return for the decades of support from die hard fans there and across the USA, he only had a couple good teams in all those years and still wanted paid more. Why did he go to Baltimore you may ask, well the last team there left under the cover of darkness like a coward. Yet the league and the other owners did nothing. Three teams have left LA yet they are throwing money for another. CREDIBILITY over a few PSI is going to hurt this league , maybe if your team would win a few games over them they would not have to make up an excuse for playing badly or being out coached. Yes I know this well as I am a Lions fan, my team is being outplayed and out coached every year.

Nice job. I like it , wheel color and all. -
Another thing that has been missed , This is a JOB not a GAME . Millions and Millions of dollars involved. Welcome to the entertainment business.

Not true. Once they get in the playoffs the team with the best record hosts the game in their house. Do you think a warm weather team playing in Green Bay in December is even? Sure they are playing in the same weather but if you do not live in the climate it will affect your play.

Questions on 1:1 1960s Dodge pickups
1930fordpickup replied to Atmobil's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Try to find a Dodge truck forum or club on line just as you found this site. Join and start looking around. You are correct you do not see many of these trucks still around but they are out there. Just be careful of buying site unseen over the pond. Ask for good video or pictures of what you get , if you can not find a person to go through over here in the US.
