  1. Now that is a nice collection. I like the look you are going after.
  2. I did watch the video Harry. I was just pointing out about what different states do with older cars. Now lets look at the report. First the storage lot contacted a different person other than who was storing the car, this did not draw a red flag to them? Second before the rightful owners could pick up their car the deadbeat non payer suddenly shows up to pay the bill? If he owed thousands of dollars why would he just show up now? They should ask for proof that he was the one that stored the car there and for how long. If they can prove the car was at the location from the time it was stolen or at least before the statue of limitations had ran out that would also help in the case. It just smells of two guys being in on this together. I wonder how many other cars are sitting over there waiting for time to expire on the running clock from when they were stolen.
  3. Some states do not issue a title to a car that is so many years old. That is scary in itself.
  4. Welcome aboard. I hope she joins you as well.
  5. This is going to be cool.
  6. I like the woodgrain it adds to the car. Looking good.
  7. The fear of not being accepted is what triggers people to be judgemental about others hobbies. They just do not want to people to think less of them so they throw the muck on you so that no one is looking at them. I have always wondered why only some forms of art are looked as ok and others like childs play. I say build on and enjoy your hobby Michael , if your friends think it is childs play challenge them to build one with you.
  8. Starsky and Hutch a plus for us Ford guys .
  9. Jack stands are all sizes in the real world. I have seen so many home made ones in the garages it is hard to say what is is scale and what is not.
  10. I agree with Art on the numbers. They made more than 50 just to get them out to the big dealers.
  11. Julian Don at Modelhaus makes a fantastic product.
  12. http://www.modelhaus.com/index.php?c=4106&p=68392 I am not sure if these are the right year , but they are close . These are resin and a very good product. They have different years for these caps that are listed.
  13. Looks great . This is a hard model to get together and look this good.
  14. I agree with getting a cheap kit and going from there. It does not have to be the kit you want to practice with. You are just learning to do the basics anyway.
  15. Very nice.
  16. Congrats to the the two of you.
  17. Good start to my favorite Chevy. Are the wheels going to match the interior ?
  18. Welcome aboard Ronald. Plenty of places by you . Great store in Owasso. Deans Hobby Shop I think is the name. There is a guy trying to sell his stuff that is from Michigan. Air brushes and compressor and a few kits. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=91789 just go here and send him a personal message.
  19. Welcome aboard Royce and enjoy. There are a few shows in Ohio.
  20. Very sad thing to happen . 40 years is a long time. Keep an eye out for parts in the paper also.
  21. Sorry for your loss Kerry .
  22. A furnace filter taped to a box fan also helps pull dust out of the air in your house. You just can not run it right before you paint. It will work as a dust collector. My dad does it at his old farm house and it helps. Just put the filter on the pull side.
