    Sams Mercury is one of the few chopped Mercs I like. Awesome color and a tasteful chop. Most shop owners get credit for what the others do. I must have missed the shows when Foose did anything but stand in front the camera. Wait, he does do the art work (yes art is a skill must of us do not have) still not the same as doing the metal work and painting.

    Try call the boss and ask why the driver can not take the time to see if someone is home. Time is money but what about customer service. UPS is on the drivers about time spent at locations. What if you are in the basement or up stairs .

    Any 396.454 Chevy will work also. Not enough difference in 1/25 scale to worry about. Just find the correct valve cover that the teams used back in the day.

    Bob you are a lucky guy, your wife likes your hobby. My parents had 8 kids in 8 years, no twins, two in the same year and than 4 kids after that . Having 8 sisters is not fun, LOL. This is why I say a lock. Funny I think that way because mom does not like dads hobby of fishing but would never touch his stuff, my sisters on the other hand........ LOL Good luck with your shop.

    Must not have grandkids yet, and the wife must respect your space. you never know what might end up in your room. It only takes up a little room. LOL Coming from a large family I have different worries than most people.
