  1. George, you mean you don't want to take a vacation to sunny Arizona!!! I moved out here from Pontiac, MI way back in 1981 and as for getting shot at I'm no where near any of the borders so I think you would be safe as far as that goes...
  2. I've been storing my models in the garage for a very long time now and haven't had a problem with the heat getting to them yet.
  3. We close on our new house today!! And if all goes as planed will start moving into it this weekend!! I packed up all of my modeling stuff and won't be able to build for about a month!!!! I hope it won't be that long, but with all the stuff we have to still get packed and then unpacked and I want to put in some garage storage cabinets before I unpack my models so I have a better place to keep them. I know it will be at least a month before I'm building again, oh and I still need to find a new job so who knows it could even be a little longer.... So if any of you that are in Phoenix and are free this weekend and you want to be out in the heat and help me move!! Just send me a PM I'm pretty sure my PM box won't get full with all the replies I'll be getting for offer's to help........
  4. Wow you did an awesome job on this one!! It looks just right and the wood detail is really good.
  5. I've seen the 1st one before and here is one I saw at a small car show a while back. And I thought I'd go ahead and posted this one just in case someone was ask what was parked beside the one above.
  6. I found it has been very slow today to load up, took me forever to upload a photo tonight.
  7. We had a 24 hour build session 2 weekends ago and Dan Baker (Danno) picked up some Testors paint on his way to Dale's house and found this "New environmentally friendly Paint". Marty
  8. Wow you did a great job on this one!! It reminds me of the car my dad had. And after seeing your awesome build I think I'm going to have to get one and give it a try. Marty
  9. This is all I'm going to say and sorry if it upsets anyone and I know it's not true, but................ Location: Wroclaw, Poland

  13. That pretty cool!! here are a few more that I found. And what is this one a Big Boy's Big Wheel........... And this one is for the a bikers kids prome???
  14. Harry Is this a Trike or a motorcycle? It has 3 wheels? But it's not a Trike and how can it be a motorcycle having 3 wheels?
  15. I get email updates from Street Fire and this is one I had to share here. http://www.streetfire.net/video/frogman-tim-cotterills-rocket-ii-trike_2012550.htm
  16. Toby, that's the fun of doing a project like this. Just do a lot of mock ups before you even think about painting it. Marty
  17. Thanks!! But mine is only the 1st one and the 2 in the other photo are not mine and I got them right from the Scalefinishes web site just to show the differents between the old & new color. I just want to make sure everyone knows that those models do not belong to me.
  18. Thanks Highway, as for the color? They are called the same color, but they paint codes are not the same? I just took this info from Scalefinishes web site as well as the photo. Here they are, the Revell Bullitt Mustangs side by side! Both cars are Ford Highland green, but the 2008 color is much darker than the original.
  19. I got my Bullitt Mustang done on Friday night and it made it to our club meeting Saturday night. I'd like to thank the members here that helped me with some of the detail stuff that I asked for help with. One of our club members got me some Highland Green touch up paint from the body shop he works at!! So here it is and please let me know what you think of it. Marty
  20. That is one sweet look Bel Air!! Just looks right!!!
  21. Well I thought I'd update you guys about my MIA parts problem of late...... I think I found my "Black Hole" Yes a few weeks ago we got a new puppy and he seems to like to lay under my work area and last night I dropped a part and when I went to pick it up and puppy had it!!! But I got it before he did any damage to it.
  22. I picked these up at last night meeting!!!
  23. Yeah, well it can't hurt to ask for it and if they send a replacement part that's great and if they don't so what.
  24. Well I feel better that I'm not alone here... I went to Michaels and picked up a 06 Mustang GT, now here's the kicker for you guys. When I picked up the Bullitt Mustang it was on clearance for $9.95 and I had a 50% off any one item coupon and got the kit for less then $6 bucks!!!! but just to get this dumb part so I could take it to the meeting tomorrow it cost me $18!!
  25. There is an evil black hold that passes through every model area from time to time sucking up parts. Resistance is futile! If the black hole doesn't get it, the carpet monster will! I have light colored carpet and the part was painted black so you would think it would stand out?
