My Revell S/H Torino is finally finished. I'm really pleased on how the outcome of this kit represents Starsky's Torino. It really shocked me on how it looks after all the controversy that this kit got at it's release. I like how Revell decided to make the changes that was needed. I'm very happy of how it looks and proud to show it, thanks for looking/good/bad comments..

Thanks Jean ! You are definetly right, I was having probs with my darn camera..

Thanks Craig ! The kit went together really well and did not come across any problems whatsoever. I'm only suggesting that if anyone builds this kit that you check the fitment of the front/rear glass as you need to trim just a little bit off of the top for it to fit but you need to be careful because the front/rear glass is very fragile and thin.

Finally got the 83 Hurst Olds finished. I know to most of you it's not perfect and I know that it's not a contest show queen but IMO I'm very happy with myself on the outcome of it. This is a very well detailed and fantastic kit and have 4 more to build as I really enjoyed building this kit. Thanks and Kudos to Revell for giving us an Oldsmobile G Body. I did not notice fingerprints until after I had took the pics. Oh well lesson learned "POLISH BEFORE PICS" lol. Thanks for looking and your comments but if your going to be nasty/rude/hateful keep it to yourself and don't look at it. As I said it's not perfect..

Monogram 1/24 1987 Buick GNX
MyBradKeselowski replied to Jordan White's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
That's not a GN/GNX as it has chrome trim and no bulged hood as most regular production Regals did when they came off the assembly line. Yes it does have 2 tone paint, aluminum wheels with the WLR tires, spoiler package and what looks to be t-tops. Only the GN/GNX Regal had the bulge hood, monochromatic black trim and different aluminum wheels and did not come with the 2 tone paint scheme as the pic Regal has. -

One sprue is supposed to be a 350 for non SS trucks and the other sprue is a 454 for SS trucks. -
MPC 1984 GMC Pickup (Video Review) 2016 Reissue
MyBradKeselowski replied to hpiguy's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
I have 3 of these kits and the grille that is in this kit would match up to an 83-84 GMC Sierra Classic. The front bumper is not right for an 83-84 as it is what would be on a 81-82 GMC/Chevy. If you want the 83-84 bumper you will need to fill in the parking lights. I should know exactly what this is since I've had an 1:1 82 Chevy, 84 GMC, 84 Chevy, and an 87 Chevy. If you don't want to fill in the parking lights in the bumper just look at it like it has been replaced with a bumper from an 81-82 GMC/Chevy. -

1/25 Revell '72 Hurst/Olds Cutlass Kit
MyBradKeselowski replied to W-Machine's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
I still have the first kit unbuilt but I really like this new version of the H/O Cutlass with Linda Vaughn.. I will be building this one the same way as the pic on the box with Linda Vaughn but I'm still trying to figure out how to do the flags for the rear bumper. The ideas I have don't seem like it would look right, any suggestions would be helpful. -

Thanks Tom ! ! I think the guy that owns Model King his name is Burkett and those are his decals that he made for the kit so that's why it says Burkett Ford. This is what I have been told so please somebody clarify this if I'm wrong. -

Dominik, I was going to paint it in one of the factory colors that is listed on the instructions but could not decide on a color. One of the factory colors listed was Pebble Beige and after really comparing that color with the molded color it seemed to me to be almost a direct match so I just clearcoated it after I applied the BMF and decals. -
Great scratchbuilding ! ! It's not easy converting a 2 door Caprice into a 4 door, I like where you going and can't wait to see more. I love these big 71-76 land yacht Chevy's..
