  1. I have to agree with you, Harry. Tommy does tend to over-embellish and is at his best when he keeps it simple. But the technical high-flying, combined with a sense of humour, are part of his success formular.
  2. A fine looking model!

    1964 GTO

Another fine looking model, Jim. Beautiful paint job, love that bronze, and clean detailing throughout.
  4. Very fine workmanship, a great collection.
  5. Beautiful! Paint to die for!
  6. Another great looking model from your bench, Stan. I have a soft spot for Capris and I love that 70s "Poison Green". (In 1972 my father bought a Cortina 2000E with the rectangular headlights and mini-lite style wheels - loved that car and still have guilt pangs because I wrecked it.)
  7. If you don't already know Tommy Emmanuel, check this out. The intro shows his remarkable mastery of harmonics...
  8. Very much looking forward to one of my favourite Pontiacs. (And thanks for those pics, John - inspiration indeed!)

    64 GTO

    Very nice looking Poncho.
  10. I don't believe it - a 4 door Galaxie! Really nice!
  11. The foil on this is absolutely flawless!
  12. Very nice indeed! I'm specially impressed with the fine paint detail on those gauges.
  13. That's one of the nicest Trumpeter Bonnevilles I've seen - great colour choices too.
  14. I still love the AMT 64s and I don't remember ever seeing a nicer version than this. Another home run, Sean.
  15. This thing looks totally real from all angles and no matter how close the camera gets. Truly amazing work!
  16. I really like this! Funny how the more mainstream cars become head-turners over the years.
  17. That is really nice! Love the paint.
  18. Wow, that's really convincing. I like that there's still plenty of body paint visible - often there's just too much body rust on this sort of model (IMHO).
  19. I can only agree with the others - a truly outstanding replica, virtually indistiguishable from the real car, even with the direct comparison which you invite with the first two pics. Wunderschön!
  20. I wasn't building models in 1978 but this must have been state-of-the-art then (just as your models are today). Personally I think it would be a great shame to pull it apart - there are other models to be built, John. My Uncle Fred's brand new, pale blue and white 58 Custom 300 Fordor was what triggered my lifetime love of US cars from the period. I was 8 at the time.
  21. Truly spectacular! If I hadn't recognized the tyres I'd have sworn this was 1.12th or bigger. Fantastic!
  22. This is really nice, love the colour. The kits have become a little scarce and I had to go hunting for mine.
  23. Really nice model. I much prefer the roof on the 64/65 to the 66 so I have the same promo and will give it a similar treatment one day. They still sell for reasonable money if you're not too fussy about condition. This is a 62 that I restored last year...
  24. Nice. If this is your third model then you have real talent.
  25. Nice job! Hope it's appreciated where it's going.
