"Here are pictures of the Pro Mod Camaro body I'm getting. " Yeah... Good luck to you. You'll need it. -

Beautiful finish and nice details. Where did the hood and tires come from? TIA -

SUPER build, John. Is it possible that you've outdone yourself? Naw. Beautiful craftsmanship. -
Looking good. The panel line method you use is something model aircraft builders have been doing for a very long time and you're right; it does add realism. It's very effective. Do you think a little trimming of the inside of the fenders with a Dremel would give you the clearance you want? Keep it up, always liked the Novas and I have that same kit not yet started.

1/24 Goodyear Eagle GT tires now available
Belair2k replied to Chief Joseph's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I had some last year and just ordered more. You're right, they are awesome. -
I heard that there was an issue of a model car mag that had plans for building a ramp to add behind a cab. Anybody have any info on this?
-
So you built a 2006 with a 2008 paint colour? I don't know how the ZR1 interior is different from the Z06...??
-
It's definitely a cool looking car. I really like the wire wheels.
-
Ah. That seems reasonable. I just have to make some plastic discs and start drilling, etc. Thank you all.
-
Nice. Who makes a 2008 Z06? I want to build a replica of my 2009 but have only been able to find a 2006.
-
I'm diggin' it big time! Great colour and the wheels are perfect. Didn't Arrowhead stop selling a couple of years ago? Finally what's the rear axle from? Keep at it.

Can anyone identify this part from the photo-etch piece on the left in the picture above? http://s239.photobucket.com/user/Belair2k8/media/Whatisthispart_zpsa932254a.png.html?sort=3&o=0#/user/Belair2k8/media/Whatisthispart_zpsa932254a.png.html?sort=3&o=0&_suid=138837450175409575825828045279 I believe it's labelled as part of the disk brakes but I can't see how it would be attached. Anyone?

Fantastic build! One question... where are the wheels and tires from?
-
Brilliant in every way. What more can be said?
-
Yeah? That's great, now what? Are you building it? Does it need a good home? Pics of progress? ...
-
Wow! Awesome doesn't cover it. I'm really enjoying the build and pics but would love to see more info posted esp regarding sizes. BTW where did the wheels and tires come from? They are probably the best I've seen.

Thank you Joseph. The tires are top notch. I can't wait to finish a set and try them on some builds. If only you had some in 1/16 as well... (hint) -
The Makerbot printer is great but nowhere near capable of producing a product similar to what Shapeway does. I've never heard what printer they use but you can be sure it's not a "home 3D printer".

Belair2k replied to Sixx's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Perfection... I wish I could get that stance on mine using the kit's chassis. -
Is that the Chevelle chassis? One of my favorite kits. I like it, but could you find another set of wheels for it? They have the Chevy bowties in them...

They are one of the very best and will be missed by many.
