  1. I mentioned this a while back. I'd love to have a car or bike built by Harry. We spent a lot of time going back and forth about the subject that we all here love. If there is an opportunity to acquire one of Harry's builds then please count me in. We miss Harry here very much and hope you are getting on well after such a loss as your Father. Pleas accept my condolences yet again. Bob Frias
  2. From ANY angle, it's all there Chris. Cannot wait till you can take a bow.
  3. A Hero's work is never done.
  4. Congrats. Ending things on our own terms is certainly a dream for most of us. Having it become a reality is almost too much to ask for.
  5. Well done. I certainly would not know what to do with that kit.
  6. Not sure why you call this a pile. It's outrageous in color and well built. Hope mine comes out as nice when it crosses the bench.
  7. Dow7 eh? I learned something...
  8. NAILED.............. I feel like I'm in So-Cal just looking at it.
  9. That's a stunning rendition. Looks like you overcame what was in the box.
  10. Super nice! I like the wiper bosses sticking out. Very nice touch that.
  11. I'd add a little flat black to the gold to make it matt and darken it a bit. You can dullcoat over the decal but use Acrylic. Add a little flattening agent or use a semi gloss acryl clear. A little Future is also OK.
  12. That looks great! Tough one as we all know. Pulled off with casual aplomb.
  13. Those are going to be great. Wait till Roger sees these.
  14. What!? That is B@d@55
  15. I did finish it. I have the pics somewhere. I'll post them when I come across them.
  16. A Japanese firm cannot make an American muscle car by sheer definition. I have no use for anything in the Asian car market so maybe I'm biased.
  17. Tamiya 959. Sold to a local classic car shop owner. Black Gold spray bomb with Duplicolor Arylic Enamel clear.
  18. Great pics Bill. That Orca replica is truly a work of art. I wish you had taken a pic of the card that was with it. I am interested in its details. And Juha's stuff is always a treat to see. The best replica stock modeler ever IMO.
  19. What kind of list is that? If you get a quarter you'll need a moving van. Funny...
  20. That is a great build. The color is striking. Whimsical is very appropriate to describe her. Well played Sir.
  21. I just went and checked his stuff. Very cool all of it. Thanks for the heads up Bill. What a shame, and only a year older than me.
  22. I missed this one. It's a wonder how Harry worked so fast yet got such perfect results. This is due to experience which can only be obtained by doing things many times till you perfect the techniques to pull it off. I miss the old blighter something fierce today.
  23. I didn't know who him. Did he use a pseudonym?
  24. Duty calls and I will not attend this year. I am saddened beyond all reckoning by this. No one will work for me and all i do is help everyone out. I am rethinking my niceness and the lack of reciprocation I receive for it. Have fun one and all.
  25. I bought a Scale Reproductions Eleanor kit last year. I must say it is the nicest thing I have ever seen. I paid quite a bit but the white metal and photo etch make it a sure winner to me. I know Glen Wann had also made an Eleanor body. I had already signed up at SR when he debuted his body. I got mine a couple of months after, since I was Gung Ho about the totality of their offering. I've gone over it often since it sits in line behind a great many projects and its quality is absolutely first rate IMO. I've also heard good things about Greg's offering. Are there differences I should be aware of? I really want it to stand out in the crowd.
