Looking over some wheels for a project I've noticed the AMT tires don't fit AMT wheels leaving a gap between wheel rings front side or back side. The tire is too narrow for the wheel Anybody have a fix that will push the tire to fit the wheel against the both edges of wheel. Vince

when building header collectors I've found that choosing a piece of plastic sized to the outlet pipe. Then choose a piece of electrical wire shrink tube large enough to fit over all sizes of the primary pipe. Center the collector pipe over the primaries and shrink the tube over all 5 pieces.

cool! The owner has been a friend for over 25 years. He's an avid car modeler and a good one too. I had an op to visit his shop about 2 years ago when I was traveling around the country. It was great seeing all my old Tulsa buddies too. Glad to see someone can live his dream and make a successful business in these hard times. I have nothing in the ways of hobby shop where I live.

I'm thinking way back but remember an article on building such a tanker. I'm thinking maybe in lou kroarc (sp) book. I'll see if I can find the article and scan it. Basically you wil find the parts you need in a plastruct catalog look for the tube,tank ends and tube rings, IIRC you will find valve assemblies, and handles also. A trailer kit of your choice will supply the suspension to fit your needs.
