  6. Looking over some wheels for a project I've noticed the AMT tires don't fit AMT wheels leaving a gap between wheel rings front side or back side. The tire is too narrow for the wheel Anybody have a fix that will push the tire to fit the wheel against the both edges of wheel. Vince

  10. I'm a vet. I never saw any action. I'm glad that some people in our country still respect those that have served and respect those that fallen. As Doug mentioned I had a similiar experience when my brother came home from Nam. Freedom isn't free. Sad to see that another generation of these idiots protesting the funerals of our fallen. MAY GOD PROTECT AND BLESS OUR FIGHTING MEN AND WOMEN! yes I'm shouting it out loud!

  14. when building header collectors I've found that choosing a piece of plastic sized to the outlet pipe. Then choose a piece of electrical wire shrink tube large enough to fit over all sizes of the primary pipe. Center the collector pipe over the primaries and shrink the tube over all 5 pieces.
  15. cool! The owner has been a friend for over 25 years. He's an avid car modeler and a good one too. I had an op to visit his shop about 2 years ago when I was traveling around the country. It was great seeing all my old Tulsa buddies too. Glad to see someone can live his dream and make a successful business in these hard times. I have nothing in the ways of hobby shop where I live.

  20. I'm thinking way back but remember an article on building such a tanker. I'm thinking maybe in lou kroarc (sp) book. I'll see if I can find the article and scan it. Basically you wil find the parts you need in a plastruct catalog look for the tube,tank ends and tube rings, IIRC you will find valve assemblies, and handles also. A trailer kit of your choice will supply the suspension to fit your needs.
