  1. I just picked up this kit. I gotta say I wasn't really overwhelmed, not much detail for a 1/12 kit. I need some inspiration.
  2. Ahh come on now guys this information wil put an end to the of the era of the "Butterdish Custom" A term coined by my dear departed friend Bob Barnett of Oklahoma City. We just can't let this kind of information get out to the general public. GSL will never be the same.
  3. Bump any updates? I just got my GT500 today thanks Hobby Lobby 40% off. Pretty simple kit Revell could have done a much better job. Lots of stuff to research to make better.

  5. Good news but the closest B&N is an hour away. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to get one if by chance they don't sell out. I quit subscribing years ago because every issue arrived in my mailbox with the cover trashed, followed up by phone calls to Golden Bell Press saying it happened again. Funny thing is replacement copy never had damage. I sure enjoy all my digital magazines. No gas, no wear and tear on my car, no walking to my mailbox, Wake up Greg, get with the program go digital, after all lesser magazines are.

  8. Check your body ramp angle. It looks a little steep car frame might hit the bed. Your coming up with something very creative.

  11. A fantastic job Marcus, Silver doesn't jump out at you as to say "Hey look at me" but I like subtle. That is a home run!

  13. Jim White is correct The first 70 Cmaro FC that Bruce had was the one with the opening driver door. It is the body he has in his shop, It used on the early frame. The later body without was used on the newer chassis.
  14. That looks pretty good. You don't see them around anymore.
  15. I need to make some custom headlight buckets for lack of a better term. It's for a a 66 Tbird. I need to be able to shape to fit inside the original bucket. I'll need to be able to remove it from the original headlight opening after it is shaped do some machine work and it will then be a master for vacum formed cover. Any ideas?

  18. Go with the Mustang or Camaro, have some fun and do something different. Make it look like it's almost ready for the paint shop with gelcoat fiberglass body panels hood decklid maybe doors. Stretch the wheelwell openings a tad and spray some primer in those areas. Shoe polish the dial in one the windshield. Stick a few contingency decals on it. Have some fun. Oh and don't forget paint on the decklid "Special Thanks to... (me ) for these great ideas.

  22. Looks good. I would have cut the decal sheet and removed the flames. But now that I see it I'll have to put it on my must get list.
