  1. Hi Tom, I've been wanting to get this kit. In the US I've seen the scion version of this car I think it is very cool, little pocket rocket. Looking forward to see what you do with your build. It's looking good so far.
  2. Looking forward to that body. Will the body have an interior tub and dash? What other decals do you have planned to fit the body?
  3. Thanks Sonny looks like small parts count. I hope you plan on building it and posting pictures here. I'd love to see it. Looks as if lots of carbon fiber decal sheets would be needed to do it justice.
  4. I'll watch this one JT. I hope you fix some of the errors in the cab as you go. That will be a big stretch should be fun to see where you go.
  5. Great job Sonny, you've taken a bad kit of a neat American full size car and have put some very creative and talented skills to work. Carry on I'll be watching this one.
  6. Please do I would be interested in seeing what's inside.
  7. Interesting product I just placed an order. Ironically I just pulled a 40 Ford pickup from the stash last night and started thinking of what I wanted to do with it. I also ordered the model A woody kit, because I couldn't resist.
  8. Kenworth challenger mixer Cat bulldozer John deere backhoe Autocar dump
  9. Nice detail work on the weld beads on the intercooler, I like the wheels also I don't believe I've seen them. I'll be following this one.
  10. Correct you are. He also made a working tilt column. I wonder what ever happened to him. I have some of those products in my stash neat stuff. Slap forhead why didn't I think of that.
  11. Awesome William I will bring portable water boarding machine to Fulton. You will tell us everything. Seriously I'm very impressed been a race fan all my life and I'm not knocking anyone else's attempt but from what I've seen so far that is the best attempt so far. I've looked around later last night and saw some of your other drag builds killer stuff. Looking forward to meeting you in Fulton NY . Vince
  12. William your not gonna get off that easy with a couple of teaser photos that is killer! Your holding out on us more info! Did you laser cut it, cnc, conventional means ? Is that a working elevator door? More info more pictures how you did it it is knock down drag out neat will I get to see it @ Fulton show in November or NNL east next spring ? Cheers to ya that gets VP certified approved.
  13. Outstanding Alain, best weathering job I've seen on one of these trucks. Is the tailgate something that international offered or is that something that the quarry owner created? Excellent build!!!
  14. Ken awesome job it may not be rivet counter correct but you captured the essences of the car accurately. You demonstrate what it takes to do just that. Research, research research, scrounging through parts not accepting something that looks close and doing a little scratchbuilding. Most of all maybe not getting overly complicated or over your head or let's just make this a simple project and staying focused. Kudos to ya!
  15. I bet he's looking for the shiek's # Ali-Aibi doesn't have any funny cars.
  16. Very interesting. I don't belief there is any counterpart to that to that in the us other than a two lane specific trailer. Nice challenge . Vince
  17. Check out the Metroplex Car Modelers Assoc. they meet in Irving Tx. You'll find a great bunch of guys. They have a website themcma.net Say hi to all the old gray haired guys tell them Vince sent yet. They will remember me. On second thought forget they won't remember anything. Cheers to ya.
  18. Thanks Gordon, Time to pull up my big boy pants and give it a try.
  19. Wow lovely build and incredible paint I wish I had the skill to do that. Is it possible to do a u tube video demonstrating that.
  20. WOW nice Bowtienutz approved
  21. It is where the natural progression has taken us technology meets old school muscle. 1 g skid pad was something we worked hard at to achieve. 1 HP per cubic inch was something hard to archive. 25 mpg in a muscle package was unheard of. My cake is chocolate with coconut icing.
  22. Great job! that multipiece cab is the worst! your next truck project will be a delight. Be polite when you go to take pictures and show some of your work you will have no problems. Looking forward to seeing what you do next.
  23. It sucks when you have projects of your past away friends awaiting completion. Seems like I'm gathering more projects and losing more friends. Congrats chuck building your skill. I think there is a phony pony mustang body and a garlits dragster on that list. I' be in touch.
