  4. I've been told 9*% alcohol well the best I cold find is 91 and that did nothing. Well I'm not gonna use my Scotch or my Jack Daniels unless it goes through me first. I doubt that will work so I'm not gonna try. Any other ideas? While I'm at it I'm such a bad painter what do you use to strip Tamiya I have alot of that paint too
  5. I think every modeler should seek sponsorship from wesley's and Castrol Super Clean Lord Know's we use enough of their products.
  6. I only ordered from Randy one time many years ago. After an 8 month wait, NNL East came up and with a copy of the order and a processed checked in my pocket I approached his booth stacked up all the stuff I order and said'Thank you". He pulled out his calculator and I pulled out my receipt. That was the year that the New Jersey Tax Adjuster was there. I asked him if he would like me to call them over and start an investigation for mail fraud. While his mouth was wide open, I asked his wife for a bag, of course she was very gracious and handed me a bag. Randy and I have remained friends as far as I'm concerned but I haven't purchased from him via the mail; I only purchase at show. He makes good products.
  7. Very nice. I've always been impressed with products and service too. As soon as I take care of personal issues I'll be ordering one. I hope to see you at NNL East.
  8. cool Darryl I just got the kit and after looking over the parts this is the car that came to mind. I'll be watching this one.
  9. Now that Meng has announced the Ford F350 truck. Is it too far a reach for them to take their excellent 1/35 armoured D9 dozer and convert it to civilian and produce it in 1/24 or 1/25 scale? email marketing in english to marketing1@meng-model.com let them know what you think.
  10. Thanks Chuck Gilboy Ford in Allentown PA still exist today.
  11. I think the idea behind the Laser was the superior Black that it made for the transparency needed to create the artwork for the negative of photo etch production. Jim Can you chime in?
  12. I'm interested in buying a new printer, not long ago i read here that someone mentioned a laser printer that was capable of printing decals and working with artwork for photo-etch. I'm interested in doing both. I have no need for a printer that does faxing or scanning, I would like wireless capability and one that works with google cloud print. any recommendations? Thanks
  13. I saw a thread not long ago where a mention of a laser printer capable of making decals and also doing work suitable for photo etch. I haven't bought a printer in some time. I don't need to fax anything I have scanners that work fine. Any suggestions.
  14. Hey Tony do you understand what a Digital Magazine is ? You get a email that you magazine has arrived, you can downloaded it, read it online, print out just the pages you want and also read it on mutipile platforms it a copy of it stays on the provider servers for your archive. Ever go to the doctor office or the tire store store and get bored. pull out you electronic device and hit zinio and start reading. I have 3-4 years of Zinio magazines of Car Craft, Hot Rod, Super Chevy,Pop Hot Rod, Camaro Performers, Family Handyman, Chevy High Performance,Drag Racer,Home Theather,Muscle Car Review,Scale Auto,Sound & Vision, Think of all the cluder this saves. Best thing about it I can open an issue and it is fully seachable via a keyword how cool is that. Don't knock it if you haven't tried it or don't understand it.
  15. Amazing that Golden Bell Press can trash a magazine in all parts of the country and try to blame the post office I live in eastern PA and had my magazine trashed. canceled my subscriptition. When I lived in north Texas same thing. My local (35 miles) hobby shops, Barnes & Noble don't carry the magazine I've asked. I gotten to the point that I enjoy my magazines in a digital format via Zinio. Maybe Greg will eventually listen to us all screaming for years about how Golden Bell is screwing us and him and get away from them. He's got a great product I just can't get it. GO DIGITAL Is there a way we can have a pole Would you buy a Digital Subscription to Model Cars?
  16. He responded to me yesterday after I filed a complained with paypal. Misterysly he returned he returned from vacation that day. go figure. I guess I'll see If I'll get my order. It's a shame I liked dealing with him in the past. Now I'm not so sure.
  17. Another incredible Job.
  18. Looking good, Did you save the hood? I'd almost want to put a Big Block Chevy and a modern pro stock style scoop and build it as a modern super gas drag car. What pro stock kit chassis did you use? More pics of the mods you made to make it work.
  19. Has anyone heard from Heinz? I placed an order with them via Paypal and we exchanged emails about availability of items. Then emails stopped. My paypal shows that the payment hasn't hit my account yet. Yet I haven't heard from him. I've worked with him in the past and it's not like him to not answer emails.
  20. Having fun Tony is what it's all about. Remember at a contest there can be only so many "winners" Win-place or show. How many guys put nothing on the table? Obviously you had fun building it. If your building for a trophy your missing the point of modeling. Eons ago when I was president of the MCMA I would announce where we bought are awards from. Say they have the art work you can buy one. You did a nice job on your Nova, you got nothing to be upset about, blow it off. Ask the judges what they didn't like about your car. You just might embarrass the daylights out of them because the wow factor of something else may have caused them to not even look at your car. A little constructive criticism can help you out too. Build on. Don't go "Loco" about it. Pun intended.
  21. WOW It's cold in PA! can I have my socks back! You blew them off!!!
  22. James I almost didn't open this post, so many times someone does a half *** job of replicating a car it just bugs the daylights out of me. I was expecting to see a 2 two door Fairlane with maybe some trim removed. Your doing great so far convincing job. Hats off for the the conversion work to a four door. I'll be watching this.
  23. We have meet the enemy and they are us!
