  1. You guys are the best! Thank you all for the interest and very kind comments! I have had a conversation with an old friend about casting the body, but not ready, yet... Dennis Lacy reminded me about the ol' Tweety Pie Spring Hangers. Had thought that I was going to have to make a pair of custom hangers, these will do just fine! Thanks, ADL! They need to be cast and made part of a kit with the Model A Cross Member, Spring and Axle Housings! Ya think? -KK
  2. Wedgie Wizard Works it!!! And, Wins the Wedgie War!!! What happened behind the scenes would have found this build in the trash... RRR fought the good fight and came out on top of the this pesky project! Proud of you, Brother! -KK
  3. ADL, You are very welcome, Brother! It is the Hendrix's casting of the '34 Panel!. You're right, MCM Forum needs a Rod & Custom section dedicated to Hot Rods & Custom Cars scale builds! Maybe with enough support the MCM Forum management and the MCM Members will sway the Administrator(s) to create a proper category for truly purpose built Hot Rods and Customs... -KK
  4. Several years ago we lost a great caster and modeling friend, Ronnie Royston R.I.P, Brother. RRR and I had commissioned Ronnie with a few of our favorite parts, pieces and rims that we like to use in and on a few of our builds. Ronnie bartered with us and in return wanted a nicely chopped 3hree Window Coupe body. Ronnie passed suddenly and we were not able to complete our exchange. RRR and I Built the Double Nickel Deuce Coupe as a tribute to our good friend Ronnie Royston.
  5. TK, Brother... you are at the top of your game! Well played!! Used the plates on the '29 PU V-12 Midnight Auto Salvage K&R Kustoms+Rods Parts Truck a few years back...

  16. Hey, Brother! Thank you for the kind comment! Glad to be back!!
  17. Superb build, ADL! Your 1:1 mechanical experience truly comes to life in scale! -KK
  18. Wow! Put your socks back on, Bill! You're right... when it is finished and all is said, few will even realize what went into it or where it all began. I truly appreciate the observation and kind feedback, Sir! ACME is alive and well... our monthly meeting is this Sunday and I will be attending!
  19. Thanks, guys! There's so much more to share with you on this build! Combining the AMT '34 5ive Window Coupe and '34-Monogram Chassis together was another major task in preparing the '33's stance. The Monogram '34 Chassis had more of a arch in the forward rails than the AMT's and offered a bit more frontend drop. Every inch counts! Then it was on to the '33 Coupe K-Member Mods by adding the Revell '40 Ford K-Member. And removing the stock battery box, too!
  20. Thanks, Bill! It's a labor of the love, replicating the '33 3hree Window Body and chopping it to its final glory!
