  1. I honestly had to look at the date of the OP to make sure that this wasn't an April Fool's joke. IMO the vehicle in the original pictures looks like garbage. It has a completely unfinished look with the mismatched wheel wells and the bottom not lining up with the cab. Too, it is too much of a contrast between old and new. I do agree with iamsuperdan in that I think a newer style stepside bed pickup would sell. I preferred the 90's style stepsides to the 90's style fleetsides myself, for looks. They didn't work well for hauling compared to the fleetside. Later-
  2. Got the grille and headlights installed and a bit of the trim painted with the pen. http:// http:// More progress tomorrow. Later-
  3. Got the body polished out this morning . Now to start on the BMF. http:// http:// http:// Later-
  4. Came back into my office to find this on my desk! Still sealed inside! http:// These are some more of the haul I got from FB the other day. http:// The El Camino is unstarted. The other two have been started but are complete. Later-
  5. Thanks James. Yes. It is curbside. Later-
  6. I wonder what it would look like in a Citroen? Later-
  7. Thanks dino. I was planning on some wide whites with the Caddy caps from the Revell 49 Merc. Still up in the air on the wheels though. Test fitted the 1/24 40 Ford pickup headlights. Look just fine. http:// Later-
  8. Looks like it could be part #705? Later-
  9. It doesn't look like the roof to the fruitwagon according to the picture I looked at. That roof to the Bad Medicine kit looks the closest but it does seem to have only one sprue attachment point. Here is my plan for it but I need a second one to widen it a bit. http:// Later-
  10. Using them to replace the trunk area of a 41 Lincoln. Someone on FB said that it is the roof to a Fruitwagon. Can anybody confirm and anybody have a spare. Later-
  11. I'll keep an eye out. Not sure exactly what all I have but I will take photos if I see anything with full trim. What other odds and ends are you looking for? Later-
  12. Thanks guys. The guy has 13 67-72 Chevy pickup kits that he was trying to sell. They were a few different versions. Wish I had the money for them. Later-
  13. This is merely a small portion of what I picked up off of CL today from a seller. I have 6 more kits and a box of about 15 lbs of parts and pieces that are still in my truck. http:// http:// http:// http:// Now to separate and clean everything! Later-
  14. Does anyone know what this is, what kit it comes from and how I can get another one or two. http:// http:// http:// Top side (convex) is smooth, bottom (concave) is textured. If you have one to trade, let me know. Later-
  15. Thanks again guys. Later-
  16. Thanks guys. espo- This is a curbside model. Just the body. Everything else is parts box. Later-
  17. I've had this JF resin body for a while now and have finally gotten to a decent point for a post. The body is painted in HOK Kopper Pearl and a few coats of clear on it this morning. Tomorrow I'll wet sand with some 12,000 grit and spray another coat of clear before polishing in a week or so. http:// http:// The interior is a 40 Ford bucket and dash with a 53 Ford steering wheel. The seat is a narrowed parts box part. I didn't put a lot of detail into the interior due to the chopped top not leaving much of a view. http:// http:// Thanks for looking. Later-
  18. Going to have to watch this one and see how it comes together. Later-
