  1. Nice build so far. Love he color combo. Later-
  2. Back at it. I got the windows in and the lights in the front grille. I used Future to glue the windows in. Funny thing is, I thought that I had left the Future at work while I was off so I couldn't glue the windows in. Last night while packing up all of my supplies to haul back to work I came across the bottle in one of my bags! I could have had this thing done by now.... I'll let it dry tonight and tomorrow I'll get the interior in and, hopefully, get the body on the frame. We will see what else from there. Later-
  3. Love the Miuras. I love the color of your build!! Simply stunning! Amazing work. Later-
  4. Wow! Nice work that you are doing with this one. I'm glad I came across this thread. Last night I dug this same kit out for something to work on because I was stalled on my other projects. I managed to get the body cleaned up and foiled the emblems. I was curious about the colors for the chassis, and here is yours.... I'm thinking of Gold or light metallic green for mine. Going to prime tomorrow. Later-
  5. Looks good. I've got a couple of these waiting in line. Get her finished! Later-
  6. Unfortunately I hit another snag this morning and will be busy until I go back to work Tuesday. But, it will get finished by the end of the week. I am re-motivated. Sorry everyone. Stay tuned though. Later-
  7. Thanks everyone for the input. I'll see what the LHS has but will probably order something online. On a side note- for headlight lenses I've been using Elmer's gel glue. It comes in the same type of bottles as their white school glue but it comes in a blue color that, when dry, gives the headlight a slight blue tint more like real lenses. Later-
  8. Quick, easy question. For those who use canopy glue for their windshields- what brand do you use or recommend? I did a web search and it seems that the price varies widely. Looking for an easy effective glue. Later-
  9. Nice work on the grille. I bet that was fun lining all of those pieces up. Later-
  10. Hey Wayne, I don't mind at all. The more, the merrier. I enjoy looking at your builds here and on FB. No offense taken. Nice build, BTW. Why did it get stalled out? Later-
  11. Glad someone else besides me is excited about this. Lol. I got the BMF done. The worst of this build is done! http:// http:// http:// Just realized that I have no glue for the windows. Going to have to get up in the morning and make a quick trip to the store. I got the wash put on the grille. Enough for tonight. Later-
  12. So, here is where it sat, on my desk for quite a while. Couple years, perhaps. Just needs the BMF done (I hate that part) and a bit of odds and ends. Close enough that I should be able to finish it by tomorrow night, if I get crackin'. http:// Interior has been done for a while. http:// Today I busted out the BMF and got started. After two hours I was here. http:// http:// Then I had to go to a wedding. Now I am back and at it full force. Time to get this one finished. Not much time in the year left. Stay tuned. Later-
  13. Dinner's over. Visited with my wife a bit. Here we go. Later-
  14. Alright!! Get off my case! Lol. I finally broke down today and started the BMF on my El Camino to get it finished. Been working on it for a couple of hours and now I have to stop so I can head to a wedding. Once I get home though, it's dinner and then full speed ahead! Look for a build thread in the Workbench section later tonight. Thanks Doc for the encouragement. Later-
  15. Great looking conversion work. I'd say that you have jumped right in. I agree that the cab looks much better the second time around. I'd be interested in seeing some better close up shots of the rear suspension drop. Later-
  16. Nice looking project. Great work you've done. Where did you get the axles? Later-
  17. Beautiful car and a great project to build. Looking forward to the progress. Later-
  18. Thanks. Someday soon it will get finished. Later-
  19. http:// That SHOULD be this one for me. Just needs the BMF done and then get the grille and bumpers on. Been staring at me too long! Stop it, will you!?!? Stop staring at me!!! Later-
  20. Looks like you're getting it dialed in. Nice picture. Later-
  21. Erik, Here is a build that I did in the Tamiya Pearl Green. http:// I think that the Mosport Green is a different shade. More in the Gold family perhaps? At least it appears darker to me than the pearl green. Thanks for the help guys. Looks like I'm going to have to go aftermarket for this. Later-
  22. Thanks. I have an old can of that Hampstead green that I bought years ago for a project and never used. I may have to look at it again. Anybody else got any ideas? Later-
  23. Does anybody know of a close color match to 982 Mosport Green in one of the major hobby paint lines (ie Tamiya, Testors) or would I need to go to a company such as Scale Finishes, etc? What, if any, have you found? I really love this color but I am looking for something more "off the shelf" than having to order it. Later-
  24. I like the look of this, especially the Mach III body sides. Very aggressive appearance. I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out. Later-.
