  1. Do you know what brand and model of camera it is?
  2. I agree his spelling needs to be worked on, but I don't see what points you towards a completed model he posted, and a few WIP pics being different. Blurry vs. clear pics, I've posted pics that are both clear and blurry. It just depends on whether one takes multiple pics or not.
  3. Looks great so far, and it really only was Dave that was doubting your skills, so don't worry about it too much. A few tips for you: 1) Take your time taking pictures. I assume you have a digital camera, so take several pictures at different distances until you get a picture that's in focus. 2) Use some sort of spell checker. Mozilla Firefox has one built in, otherwise you could type your response in Word, check it, then paste it in here.
  4. Well Dave, you better ask him some questions since he says he can back up the claim that he built them!
  5. Wonder if it's just from him saying that he took it from his dad's collection, in that Dave thinks his dad built this and had it in his collection?
  6. I want to say it was pinstriping...
  7. Ok figured it out using a page from the brochure. Firebird Sport used 15" wheels pictured above Formula used 16" wheels pictured above GTA and Trans Am used 16" spoked wheels
  8. I'm assuming you're talking about the 2n1 kit, and I assume it does since it says stock wheels, and those were the only style aluminum wheels that year (other than the spoked wheels on the GTA).
  9. Nick, are you sure that's the correct quote for your post?
  10. I wasn't sure simply due to the links. He responds like a normal person, but it's those links in the posts that I wasn't sure about.
  11. Already have a sticky of this in the Rants/Raves section. Of course, you can tell who doesn't read the stickies.
  12. Actually looking at pics online, his camera has a button on the back for macro (like my camera).
  13. On my camera, you partially hold the shutter button, and it will auto-focus (if the knob is on the Auto setting). Using the macro button allows you to move a little closer, but it will still be blurry if you're too close. Mess around with distances until you can get a clear pic. It is a digital camera, so you can take as many as you need.
  14. Hey, rhymer! We don't take kindly to your type around here!
  15. Are you talking to me? George, are you talking...to me!? Haha I'm not the original poster, their name is Shelby and Darrin (according to their info).
  16. Don't be like that, not everyone here is a pro model builder. Heck, not everyone here uses BMF (I don't, I just use silver paint for trim or paint the chrome). We're all here to help one another build better models, and if you don't post any pictures, we won't get to see your projects! Nor will we be able to accurately help you with any issues you may have.
  17. Does it grow fur and claws and suddenly have an appetite for fish?
  18. Along with that, a good place for various parts for muscle cars is the Summit Racing and Jegs catalogs. They have engine parts, exhaust parts, electrical, wheels, tires, drivetrain parts, all in color and showing available options.
  19. When the picture is on the screen, hit the "Prnt Scrn" key at the top of your keyboard (mine is above F10). Then open up Paint and hit Crtl+V. Voila! Anywho, I use Google initially for both pictures and links to forums. I also browse CarDomain for some vehicles. For domestics, I go to the American Car Brochure site.
  20. For the wheels, I would think a light black-wash would help them out, since right now they still look like plastic (if you plan on keeping them white).
  21. The Probe is a key moment, but I wouldn't say for that reason. Ford was thinking of having the Probe be a replacement for the Mustang, to compete with the Integra and such. Mustang fans said "hell no!", so they used it to instead replace the Ford EXP (which was a sports coupe based on the Escort).
  22. Is that Tim Taylor as a pirate?
  23. Edit: Here's the rest of brochure for references. http://www.lov2xlr8.no/brochures/chevy/67vel/67vel.html
