  1. I Really like the proportions resulting from that chop.
  2. Very nice job! Looks like a great kit to get started on. I'll be waiting to see your NEXT one.
  3. I've defiantly been thinking about that angle cut and completely agree it will look good. I'm not sure I've left enough insulation on the wire to allow it, but it probably won't matter too much if the wire ends up close to the ends as I't impossible to see. If I think I can still do it without screwing things up I will
  4. Lovely bug. Those wheels I really like on it.
  5. Micro mark has it and here's the link to their main page
  6. That came out spectacular! The blue paint looks great and really suits the car. The interior is amazing!
  7. Good to see the body coming along. If you continue to have problems with the section, epoxy some 1/4" or so strips inside across the seam. This will reinforce well.
  8. GASP! .. as usual... stunning! I'm going to have to find a "normal" body to see how it was shortened. It sure looks nicely proportioned to me.
  9. Does Revell have a place showing any of these items? I did look, but no success
  10. Even Evil should be impressed at that execution!
  11. What a great "reverse of the normal thinking"! Looks very good to boot!
  12. These are the instructions from a S&S Specialies seat belt PE set and should help. I usually fold over a small section of belt through the buckle loop and glue to itself. I use CA to glue belt, but there are many types of glue that could be used. I'd be interested in hearing what others use for glue.
  13. That sounds like the typing box. Should be a smaller box below the area you see messages. Click around till you see a cursor appear. A Possibility the skins problen is doing something, so try a different skin if you can't get it.
  14. Very nice dragster. Good job on all the scratch build detains!
  15. Great looking truck. Love that black beading ..
  16. I'm liking that straight 8
  17. Gorgeous looking, very clean and beautiful photography!
  18. I would eat off that thing... it's SO clean! What a spectacular looking build .. and it a SLOT car!! holy cow!
  19. Well, I have to hand it to the boys at Vin’s Sunoco as they made a valiant effort, but it’s a no show. They even worked on the coup in the trailer during the trip west, but the powers that be just wouldn’t come together. They made it to the Lion’s pits and were left standing on the sidelines. It is still a tribute to the spirit of Lions Drag Strip as it’s what racing is all about! The topper was the decals as everyone in the area quit early to get liquidated for the coming New Year. The fuel lines needed other things done first, so they are still in the tool box.. The steering rods are also in the box as they interfere with other installations. At least no one minded some photos of the beast at rest as the Bud was popped and the boys sat to watch the Ball drop in NY on the B&W pit TV. Happy New Year to all!
  20. I'm diabetic but have never tried using a syringe for glue. They really shoot a powerful stream, so I'd suspect getting a small amount out might be a problem. Let us know how it goes if you try it.
  21. Will be great to see how you do this one. That glass looks like it will be a real job.
  22. photos of a lot of the Modelhaus bodies are here. Not sure if the ones you wanted are, but worth a look.
  23. That paint really likes that body.. shows it off so well.
  24. That IS a nice roof line .. go for it!
