I was just looking on feepay, And see the '72 Demon grill I mastered for the kit by Missing Link....Know the question I have is....Once you are given credit for the masters, Don't you have the rights to them?....To me I find that being a thief....As I put all the work into the parts....Was giving credit for it....And now I'm seeing someone recasting it ,And trying to make money off of my work ....Can anyone enlighten me on this? I don't want to see business taking away from the resin casters out there that are reputable ....And all the hard work these people do for us.....The only person I want to see selling my stuff I master...Is the people I send it to....Not second hand junk that some yahoo tries to make a quick buck off.

Wow this car is beautifully built....Love it!

I purchased a '70 Challenger flat hood, '69 MPC Coronet flat hood , '71 Duster and '70 Coronet bench seats from Hart's Resins......Nice stuff.....But it does need a few pinholes filled in ...The Coronet hood was bought for a future '69 Coronet 500 project....I just have to cut the R/T scoops off the body and blend in the same areas from the Revell/MONOGRAM '69 Super Bee.....Then add to proper trim for the 500, I've only owned the Coronet for fifteen years, About time to build the car.

I love both builds.....For the Demon....did you use the decals for the Red stripes or paint.....Very nicely done.

I'm sitting here looking at all of those kits right now.....I love the old box art on my kits....The '75 PLYMOUTH Duster...Is the same kit inside as the '74, Only the custom wheels and grill is different......But the body's on the MPC kits makes the AMT '71 body look wrong....I personally never cared for the AMT Duster....Great donor kit.

Very nice build.....What color blue is that? And who makes it? Also....The car should have the rear quarter windows in....They opened at the back like a vent window......I know that the side Windows are a pain to get in this kit....But it is worth it...Aside from that....I like the Duster alot!

Does anyone make the decals to make the Rod Shop version? I'd like to make the 71' and 72' out of two of my resin Demons...Also the Billy The Kid version...Any suggestions on who makes the decals ....I would also like to make the Blue and black Don Carlton 71' prostock version.

I have to agree....VERY nice build!

Here's an idea for you...Find a 82-83 Cavalier annual from MPC....And make a factory stock J2000, The only other parts you need is a set of Pontiac wheels from a early Fiero kit...I made one along time ago back in 1990 , It didn't look to bad for what skills I had back then.

I ordered a base 69' Camaro hood back in the summer of 2011..I still have yet to see the part....I look at it as an Oh Well thing...$8 lost ....But it's to bad though...because I have a 70 Bonneville that I wanted to get the hardtop body for...And also wanted the 73 charger SE Kit...hopefully they get things back in order....As they do have a few things I'd love to have.

Green Nova, Orange Boss 302, Black 67 Comet, Yellow ridiculous Gremlin...
spkgibson replied to Nxr's topic in WIP: Model Cars
That Gremlin is way to cool...Love it! -
Contact him.....This it worth being cast in resin....Plus you get more than one back after he casts them....Contact him...PM you're number...And have him do the same...And dicuss the project with him....Kris is a very nice person.....I've spoken to him a number of Times....You're at the point to almost painting the car....So food for thought....If you mess up the paint job....You got to start all over again...I would positively LOVE to have one of these to build.

What Do You Want To See Next?
spkgibson replied to Duntov's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
1967 and 68' Buick Wildcat , 1968-72 Pontiac Lemans..1972 Dodge Demon..1973-74' Dodge Dart Sport.....1967-70 Olds Delta 88, 1969 and 70' Dodge Polara 500, 2 and 4 doors of those...Any 71-76 Dusters...And Scamps ....Any 70 - 76 Dart Swingers.....And 70-73 Valiant 4-doors...70-72 Preferred, But the rare 73 would be nice....That was the last year for the Deul body style rear end...74 is when they changed it to the wrap around taillights. -
working on the Bandit Resin's 1971 Plymouth Scamp....First thing I had to do was remove a 1/4 inch off the back of the car....As every photo I found of the real car shows the back end was way to long....I have that mod done....As for the interior....I cut down the AMT 71 Duster interior panels, Cut the package shelf off the duster rear seat....I still have to sand the sides a little....I'm using the 68' Hemi Dart interior without the console ,My Bench seat is a resin peice from Hart's Resin...Dash..76' Dodge Dart...The rest will be the 68' Dart parts..Wheels wil be from a 70' Impala.....They are VERY close to the optional one's offered on the A and B body's from 70'-73 , Now..318, Or Slant 6? Also...For the grill...I cutout the Duster 340 grill.and the insert from the resin one in the resin kit...Sanded it to fit snug....Now it looks ALOT better...And I have a chrome grill...A simple tip I thought I would pass along to anyone who builds one of these.....But that 1/4 mod is very important to make the car look right.

Now that's one nice looking kit.....Let me know when these are ready ......I have to get one.
-
Very Nicely done....I love the color combo..Very cleanly built.....See everyone....You don't have to spend a small fortune on a build to have a great looking model.....Great Job!
-
69'Goat......He sent me a nearly complete Monogram Judge parts kit ......Now I can finish my 69' Lemans conversion out of the newly released 1/25scale funny car....So thank you so much 69'Goat.....No Worries when you trade with him.....He's a man of his word.
