  1. I dunno.... "Amish Mafia" has GOT to be scripted.
  2. ^That's from late last year, I do know he's added some parts for the Moebius LoneStar recently.
  3. Well- Jewel, the well-known singer, is from the same family. One of those guys with the weird first name on the show is her father. But if they've got that kind of money and still live even 10% of the way they appear to on TV, props to them.
  4. And 4. And there's a 5th one coming out this year.
  5. Who says you can't do anything different with a '32 Ford? Very nicely done.
  6. Build two... keep one, and give him the other. Love the way this is coming together.
  7. Very nice!
  8. Thanks guys- eventually this will be lined up with a bunch of other junkers next to a rundown old gas station.
  9. Thanks guys! The main piece is half-round strip- full piece for the back, and two shorter pieces on the other side so there's a notch for the plate. The bars running down to the hitch are .020" styrene cut to shape.
  10. Cool! I just finished doing the exact opposite with a Maisto 2010 F-150 STX, converting it to a base-model XL rather than making it fancier. I'll be keeping an eye on this one.
  11. If anyone here who isn't on Facebook but is interested in getting one, PM me and I can give you Joe's e-mail.
  12. The tires from one of the Revell 1:25 pickups ('97 F-150 or '99 Silverado 1500) fit the wheels pretty well. They still aren't a perfect solution but they're a marked improvement over the hollow, one-sided plastic tires.
  13. I'm in for a few, just for the presence of stock flares and full doors. Looks like it would be a quick, fun project even if you kept it box-stock though.
  14. I am using Chrome- have been since last September. But anyway- thanks guys! That narrows it down to a problem on my end. I'll take it from here.
  15. Or does it just appear that way to me? I logged into my PB account late last night, but when I tried to upload a pic, the site crashed on me and I haven't been able to access it since. I also can't see any pics posted on this or any other forum from Photobucket. I've checked isitdownrightnow.com and it says there's no issue with PB, but I've had it say that when others are having issues as well. Anybody else having problems?
  16. What Chris said. If I recall it fits the AMT springs pretty well, too. Alternatively, you could mount the stock axle on top of the leaf springs, instead of beneath. You'll need to eliminate the wire front axle if you go that route.
  17. Pics or it didn't happen.
  18. That's basically what I did- I just left a little bit of the end so there's a bit of a 'lip' to the opening. With a little more work they could be made to look like the regular fender openings, but for my purposes, just cutting them away worked just fine.
  19. Just having a little fun with an incomplete '50 Ford truck, some spare parts, and a few panels cut off a Hudson Hornet body I managed to melt... somehow.
  20. Fast forward a year, and I finally decide to just bite the bullet, make the center bench out of some slabs of .100" ABS sheet, and call it a day. Here it is with an untouched Maisto STX on the left... And are the Maisto diecasts with the Jada SVT Raptor.
  21. I love it! I'm gonna have to look into those decals.
