  6. Born in '95, the following weren't true for me. 2. Revell and Monogram have always been the same company. (When I first started it was Revell Monogram) 7. You could always find nearly any model kit you wanted on eBay. (I never used Ebay until about two years ago, and have hated it since) 11. there have always been internet forums. 12. Still waiting on Parts, I was told they shipped last week, so we'll see. Gives me time to do a few quick restorations I had planned. Nick
  13. 440 is too expensive, this one is my cruiser on nice sunny days, next one will be rodded.
  14. Goes to a model show wearing Mopar racing shirt, buys Mopar 1:1 parts and a Mopar kit, mission successful. I was actually able to depress one of the valve springs fairly easily, so I think I'll be alright. 1971 340 J Code heads will be hot tanked and disassembled then sent to my machinist who will Magnuflux them among other things. Couldn't resist the '69 GTX for $7 Sealed inside. Nick
  15. Had a great day, drive in was nice, got to meet quite a few people from FB and a few guys from here. Excellent show with a great Turnout this year, last time I checked with Tony, over 800 people threw the door (not counting staff and vendors) and over 500 entries in the various classes. A few of my favorites, the rest are at the link below. Nick
  16. There was 20 kits in the series if I remember right. Nick
  17. It's still not a horrible kit, as a builder it's not like every revell fits perfectly either, it is nice when put together. Nick

  21. Thanks Guys. Nick
  22. I did, sent you a PM about it, thanks. Thanks Guys.
  23. The '69 Coupe is a parts box build using the left overs of the above car and some parts box raiding.
  24. The Butternut yellow RS/SS started out as a built up I bought off a friend at the Group 25 Fall show and kitbashed with the Revell '69 Yenko 427, to build a nicely detailed RS/SS 396 with the 350 HP 396 Big Block. I changed the rolling stock to the Magnum 500's from the AMT '70 Chevelle, the Polyglas just seemed perfect.
