  1. I bought 0.60 OZ containers of black & White about 2 years ago. Nick Edit: and as far as how far it goes I average about 16-18 builds a year. So I've built 34-36 in the last two years and only half used the black, the white it about a 1/4 used
  2. My DD a '93 Cheyenne C1500 that I've had now for over a year, bought it with 182,287 KMS (113,089 MILES) and it's just now at 188,460 KMS (116,817 MILES), 305, 4L60E, 10 Bolt rear end with Limited Slip, A/C, Sliding rear window and the front Composite appearance package are among it's only options. Day I bought him from the second owner (who bought it in '95 from the Dealership who used it for it's first 2 years) Exactly 1 year after I bought it. Weather was a little crappier (thats a water spot on the door from the camera lens) And this is what it looked like on Sunday after I washed it, every Sunday I wash it and wax it, since then I restored my headlights and turn signals. I've got Chevy floor mats now but interior is exactly the same. Engine bay. I'll have to dig through and find photo's of all the C/K's I've built but this one's currently on the bench. Nick
  3. Funny enough I started working on my T bird last night making some repairs required and digging out parts. Nick
  4. Mid 70's and sunny here in southern Ontario. Nick
  5. I appreciate it guys, it looks pretty good in my display cabinet with my other recent stuff. Nick
  6. There simple other than the '68 & '69 Hard top on the far right, there out of box, just gonna detail them up a bit, catching the Mopar bug is a good/bad thing.
  7. Doing some Mopar building right now, Scale. 4 '68-'69 Plymouth B bodies 1:1. 1 '69 Plymouth C body. Nick
  8. Still haven't gotten to it Ed, I will Eventually . Thanks Ed
  9. Thanks Mike, I found a 'wrecked' wrecker at a scrap yard and was able to crawl all over it and dissassemble a few things to see how they worked. I'm glad you picked up on that Chris! Nick
  10. Thanks guys I appreciate it. Thanks Mike, this actually only used about 3-5 parts from revells Wrecker of the 90's molded in Orange, originally released as the Captain Hook wrecker, I used the hood (which you can see is still bleeding even though it was sealed), chassis pan, rear differential, interior tub, and dash, I think that's it. the rest came from a built up Revell Hot Rod truck or the parts box, or I scratchbuilt it, I got lucky on references I found a '82 C30 with Holmes 440 Wrecker in a local scrapyard and used it along with some brochure photo's (GMC & Holmes) to finish the truck. I do have a set of blue prints for a Jerr-Dan Rollback.............................
  11. Finished now: More photo's can be found here http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=74708 Nick
  12. Finally finished it, I started it November 21/2010, so over 2 1/2 years ago. mixture of scratch-building, kit-bashing and some resin stuff. Progress can be found here http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=68198 Not perfect, but finished. Nick
  13. Some excellent work so far. Nick
  14. Only 8 454SS trucks. Bahh that's hardly any, I'm trying for a even dozen. Nick
  15. The Fuselage cars are the '69-'73 C Body full sizes, Detroit Tactical Mobile used Fury's all through the Fuselage bodystyle, I'm trying to find the ad that I have, I've got over 500,000 files, it's here somewhere. Johan might have had plans to do another fullsize later on, but I know the one I saw was a '69 because I spent a few days searching to see whether it made it to production. Nick
  16. The add I saw and have shows all of Johan's '69 Releases, the Fury was the only one on the page not released. There were no Twin Grills on Fuselage Fury's till '72-'73, and there's no way a '72-'73 looks anything like a '69, or '70-'71. Nick
  17. You are correct it was to be released as another Police car, Chicago PD if I remember right Or it might have been Detroit PD (Blue & White car anyway, and both were using blue/white at the time and both were using '69 Fury's at the time) I have a copy of one of the ad's, I'll have to try and find it, I wish it had made it to production would have been a good base for a conversion to build my 1:1 toy. Nick
  18. Best comment I've ever read, hands down Tommy. Nick
  19. I know all about safety Equipment have had quite a few older friends who have taught me to use it or face the consequences later that they have. When we go to do the sail panel (trunk divider) and 1/4 to rockers I got some lead to re do the panel joints, it is a lot safer than the old lead, I forget how it breaks down but it's not 100% lead. The car also will be getting minimal body filler, I told my friend that if were doing it, I wanna learn how do it right. Nick
  20. I'm getting ready to drop it off at my buddy's, he's a retired Bodyman and he and I will do the bodywork and get her all primed and jammed. Nick
  21. Getting there. Still have to finish the wheel lift and install it as well as detail up a few things and add them.
