  1. Can someone pm this to me?
  2. I like the second choice. They suit the style better. Although, they won't exactly match the level and quality of detail you incorporate into your builds without some cleanup of the sidewalls and replacing the less than crisp lug nuts. I never cared for the first ones, they just don't look right on anything in my opinion.
  3. I like the hood sides. Makes the nose look longer.
  4. I wonder how it would look with a low set of fins on top of the rear quarters. Or tall, Caddy style, fins leaned out a little. It would certainly add to the bird beak nose.
  5. That is friggin cool!! Is it just a mockup thing, or, is your right rear tire further forward then your left?
  6. Have you tried to reverse mount the hinge? I don't which way you were trying. Either the pivot secured to the inside of the door or the inside of the body.
  7. Daaang! That is gonna be slick!! What are the wheels from? Ghost flames would look good under that too.
  8. Walking from the front to back would be like time travel. 50 yrs worth. Pretty cool idea.
  9. Thanks for the replies, y'all! I expected it to be poor quality. ....and a lot of flash? I've had kits from Revell back then that were similar. '56 F100(doors) comes to mind.
  10. Are the Revell "Saints" Henry J(black) and the Revell "Lil Puffer" Henry J(pink) one and the same?
  11. Neat idea, Chuck. I have always liked the idea of miniature slammers. I have a CRX w/a modified Coronet chassis I started about 12 or so years ago that never got fully finished. As far as 1:1, I always wanted to do this with a 70's Honda Civic 2 door
  12. Here's one I did several years ago. RG Peterbilt 359.
  13. Geoff, could you tell me where those polishing mops are from?
  14. If the doors are to remain shut once built, why couldn't the inside of the walls have detail to incorporate a smooth side look just by flipping the sides over during construction. Ribbed on one side, smooth on the other. Builders choice. Depending on how the sides are molded/assembled at the front and rear of course.
  15. Ditto! Prostar as well. Anxiously waiting!
  16. Ask around if there are any dog parks in your area. Chances are very good in that city. Most cities have one or more. Usually fenced areas for them to run and play off leash. As far as training, the younger the better/easier. Here is a good reference site with a lot of helpful info. http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/ I have also gotten a lot of helpful ideas/tips from the show "It's me or the dog" if you get the Animal Planet channel on cable. The pea gravel may get stuck in the dogs pads(bottom of feet) walking on it and cause discomfort for him/her. Dogs are great companions. Lock your wife and dog in the trunk for a while and see which one is happy to see you once released. I haven't tried this. Just sayin'.
  17. Sorry to interrupt. Just couldn't help but hear his voice as I read those words. I miss that voice!
