  1. The Dodge looks top-notch here, the engine/fuel tank details came out nice!
  2. XJ6, I'm not 100% sure, but I think the "Red Line Oil" "kit", is just either the "Soff Seal" '57 or the re-released "streer burner" version with some Red Line Oil decals on it.
  3. Mustang looks killer Tyrone!
  4. The engine is looking good Tyrone!
  5. Just want to say Happy Birthday Andy!,13 WOW!, you are allowed to cause trouble during your "terrible 2's", but that is only 1 year, NOW the TEEN'S are a totally different situation!
  6. Like how to drive into Italian Police cars & get into fights with Italian Police Officers?, or how to get your show kicked out & banned from Italy?
  7. From what I hear (haven't tried it yet myself, to busy with Drag cars),is to use flocking.
  8. The suspension looks good Derrick!, like the color of the springs.
  9. Looks Beautiful.
  10. The "Soft Seal" car was not re-released, the basic kit was in the "Street Burners" series, Revell also "re-released" Charles Carpenter's "Custom Autosound/Camaro Junction" '55 Chevy in the Street Burner. Wish they would re-release Richard Earle's "Christine" '58 Plymouth (in white & not warped!) & Norm Wizner's "Jukebox Ford" '55 Crown Victoria. Your '57 looks great by the way!
  11. Nice T-Bird, I have to agree with everyone else, nice paint.
  12. DUH!, need to start paying more attention to the listing I guess LOL
  13. So, a "What If", tell me, "Big" John Mazmanian or SWC ? Looks good so far.
  14. No problem Derrick, I plan to, got some good pictures from the magazine on hooking it up & found some stuff on the net that will help.
  15. O-K you asked for it.I'm planning on building a swing-arm rear suspension (developed by Murray Anderson from "down under") for my '71 Dodge Demon P/X.It's one of the questions I asked the tech at the ADRL to make sure it is a legal set-up, it is, so I'll try & put one in.
  16. Agree 100% with the '66 Chevelle, pretty much with the '41 Willys. Your SW&C Willy's is looking good Brett!
  17. Hey!, I'm 53 (still a kid tho, ask my friends! LOL), don't have a car, have a bicycle (with 2 flat tires, well 1 actual flat, the other just lost air sitting around), the hobby shop is to far to walk to, have to take a bus or bug my sister to take me to the shop.
  18. Looking good! When I get to that stage of the build on my P/X, I was going to do a normal 4-link set-up, but after looking thru some old Drag Racing Monthly magazines, I thought I'd go ahead & try a different rear suspension set-up, something you don't see too much.
  19. Top End Miniatures is a top notch business,Chris Buck (the owner)makes some really well detailed resin parts, he had to shut down the shop for awhile due to his mother getting sick then passing away, moving & then some health problems of his own, but he is slowly getting TEM up & running again, the store is now open again (he only has a few items now, but they are growing. When I made my first order (just when his mother was getting sick)of superchargers (3), nitrous fuel cells (2),3-speed Lenco transmissions (3) & 4-speed Lenco transmissions (2) he sent me a e-mail telling me that the order was received but would be delayed for the above listed reason, when I received my order (about a month later) it had 5 clutch cans in the box, I wrote to Chris letting him know I received some parts I didn't order, he told me he sent the clutch cans free for being patient & understanding about the delay, Chris's parts are highly detailed, examples are on the Pro-Mod Dodge Daytona built by Wayne Stevens Jr., the supercharger & transmission (including the air shifters) are TEM products, Wayne also does some of the castings for TEM.
  20. Welcome to the House of Model Wacko's, I'm sure you will find lots of things to check out, & get lots of help if needed.
  21. John Paul Jones, didn't you play bass/keyboards for Led Zepplin? (LOL)
  22. Yeah, I would think so, it fits, it's one of your interests & one of your activities.
  23. Looking good, the "cammer" looks real nice!
  24. Welcome to the club Rob!, as said above, you will enjoy it here! (or else!)
  25. Yeah, I also saw that John had said he got his boots from Flashpoints, but I can't find them on his website, everything else you can find, but not the plug boots, I checked & was wondering if Flashpoints made them in 1/25th scale & how much they cost.
