  1. I'm looking for some wheels so in 1/24-25, but Where I can find them? Andi kit that has them? Thanks
  2. I'm scratch building a Cherokee XJ (84-96) in 1/24. The body is almost done, need some putty, primer and should be ready to go. When I can I will take a pic of it. You also can find XJ in those scale, some are pretty rare. 1/55, 1/64, 1/43, 1/30 1/28, 1/20, 1/12 and 1/10... At least those is what I found/have in my collection. This is in 1/20, it was a 84-96 XJ, but I converted into a 97-01 model and RC. On the hood of my 1/1 XJ.
  3. Cool car! The first two pics I though it was a real car. The hand rail looks a snowy road.
  4. Looks a pretty good start!
  5. Blow some air trough it.
  6. The Hogan's Heros Jeep has two grille, so you can build it as Willys MB (from the Hogans movie) or use the CJ2 grille. You also can look for those kits: MPC Bushwacker, MPC Trailblazer, The Grummmbler... Those have the two grille. I will skip the postal one, first because it is a DJ5 and second because the roof is way too lower.
  7. Agree with Harry! The Classic Pocher where build like high end models, they sold pretty well a the beginning, and after the sales drop... Mostly because of the price. So they started to make all those Ferrari's, Porsche, etc., with less parts, less quality but a better price...
  8. Cool! But I think with the one I'm using, I'm pretty close to the original color. Thank you for the info!
  9. Looks real!!! nice job!
  10. I cut myself many many times... This was the last bad one, during working on the Wild Bee... But a drop of Superglue fix it and I went back to the work.
  11. That's color is the one I'm trying to replicate!
  12. Nice job! I hope to see it in some model show!
  13. Thank you! Work with metal sometime it's easier...
  14.
  15. Thank you all! Yep, air cooled Rules!!! :)
  16. Thank you all guys!!! Those pics are from the interior... For who want here the link to the WIP. WIP Thank you again for looking!
  17. Very nice!!!! I always liked those Volvos!
  18. I'm planning to go a the concours.
  19. What I think, is mostly an "artistic" way. Or like George 53 wrote about the one in TX, that made it to advertise his wrought iron fence business. I though it could be a nice model to try to 'replicate' it in a small scale. I was planning to be done with it in only a week, but it toke me almost two weeks... But It was fun the same...
  20. Thanks guy! Yes I know, actually there are more than one of those wrought iron VW... Before start this model I found some pics of wrought VWs, mostly are white, but there are some yellow and they told me also in green. I think in a white yellowish color looks better.
  21. Also this fun project is done... From the Revell kit I used chassis, wheels and tires, engine and other minor stuff. The steering wheels is from a 1/32 Impala (IIRC). The front hood is not attached to the body, so it can stay open or stay closed, the stick that keep it open it is attached to the body. The rear hood has some micro hinge, that I tested on the Screamliner 359, but the stick that keep it open its a piece a part. Some pics... Thank you for looking!
  22. I'm pretty close to finish this one! Today I finish the new "seats"... I made them like the outdoor furniture, I think those looks better on a wrought iron VW... Painted in the same color of the body... And finally glued on the interior... I modified a little bit the rear bench. Here I add a kind of pillow... It will add more comfort...
  23. I know, I put the heater ducts, for fill up the engine compartment... I can always remove them. Or leave, who knows, maybe with all those drafts of cold air, some warm air will help!!! About the chassis the IMC would be great, but I'm almost done with this, and I had this kit... But good to know, who knows in the future, maybe made another one... Thank you Tony! I like it too!
