  1. Agree! When I paint I usually use a like the one in picture. If you paint in closed area, open the window.
  2. Thank you both!
  3. You did a nice job!
  4. Got it today, I was surprised when I saw a couple of my models.
  5. Thank you guys! @Charlie, for the top part, I used only the cowl from the kit, all the rest is scratch built. The bottom the fenders are from the kit, I scratch built the fender on the inside and the rear cover. Here a picture toke during the work on the body. And before cut the doors...
  6. This started out from the Revell/Monogram 1931 Ford Model A Woody kit... Nice car, nothing to say about it. But my idea was to make a Model A, little more on the "high end" side... Like if Ford a that time decide to compete with prestige cars. I need to admit, that I really enjoyed build it, and I like how it come out. Here the pics... The HAL engine... more power! Some music, from a Motorola radio! The on-off and the etc is on the steering column. Did you remember the tools? I found a nice place for them... And behind the seat there is a fire extinguisher and a little storage, kind of a trunk. :-)
  7. It probably will turns, very large turns... It will be better (on the real) if you add another steering axle.
  8. Thank you both guys! @Bennyg, for the tires, I borrowed some from a friend of mine. After I made a mold and cast them in resin. And returned the whells-tires to my friend.
  9. I still can't believe I finish it... A lot of fun building it... The front wheels turn right ad left, the ladder goes up and down, and turn 360. The doors are glued. I opted for glue them because i like it better with all doors open so you can see inside. Here some picture of it... Here looks that there is no mirror on the left door, but it is there and reflecting the ground. Funny I didn't notice it until now. This one is my favorite picture of it.
  10. Very nice considered the scale.
  11. Thats interesting! Thank you for share it!
  12. Fantastic job as usual!
  13. A little more... The rear part, I put some washers because I want that the ladder free to move right and left, and up and down and have a good base. Those parts are the "legs" cover and "feet". Interior panels, and front grille frame. I can say that this is very accurate, the real tuck had cardboard panels... ;D ;D ;D Here the interior and hood done. With and grey. Dashboard done... Seats, the comfy one is the passenger one... Seats done... Need only paint. They will be satin black the seat and back part, the frame in flat black. Here the ladder carrier. It will be attached a the bed of the truck, and "secure" to it with a screw-bolt... And here the top part, were actually the ladder will be.
  14. Thank you Dingo! I made a few progress... My hand is back to normal... Here some work on the cab. A test fitting of the cab, fenders and bumper. Chassis done, and test fitting with the tires. Start the motor.
  15. I'm in a break, I cut myself working on this truck...
  16. Agree on the fast shipping and the quick email response, but no the casting, no. I bought 6 tires and wheels, and they were very crappy.
  17. A few hours ago he send me an email telling me that if I want he can send me some rubber tires. But, I had to refuse his offer, I already bought a kit on ebay. I refuse his offer for two reason. 1) I trashed wheels and tires. 2) The wheels that I bought from him are only half, the other half is on the tire, so if I mount those wheels on rubber tires I need to build or find the other half (back) of the wheels. And honestly, I don't want to spend more time on adjust tires/wheels. I already spent too much... Hopeful this week I will receive the kit, so I can go ahead and build this truck, before I loose interest on it.
  18. I foud a kit on ebay that works. I should have bought it before... But... I trash also the wheels, because those are half wheels, only the front part, the rar part is on the tire. Pretty much I use the cardboard like the plastic. I build what I want, a coat of primer, some sanding, maybe putty, sanding again, primer and if is all ok, the final color.
