  1. Thank you Chip! Yes it is metal, I think it is more strong than use plastic. Meyer snow plow did not have the light on the snow plow. I think they were added a the end of the 60's. So I don't think to put them on mine. Were I grew up, there was a Jeep Willys, ex-WWII, with snow plow, I don't remember the brand. The half cab on the kit is similar to the Meyer one, but the roof and door hinges are different, I think they made so for a easy assembly. Also there was different brand that make half cab or a full hard top with different configuration. Also Jeep sold its own cab/hardtop.
  2. I was thinking last night to make the front steering turning right and left. So I removed the front axle. Working on the right side of the axle (left on picture). The front axle finished. Back on the chassis.
  3. Thank you Mike! It is kind of a shame that they used a CJ-5 on the Dasy kit, also because they had the CJ-7 to use... The blade on the kit is not to bad, I think I will use it. What lights are you talking? I'm building the snow plow version, and I think to use the half cab. Sorry...
  4. Thank you Carl! It is slightly different. This kit has a V6 engine (Dauntless), so on the side of the fenders there is wrote Jeep and under it the V6 logo. Plus you have a soft top, half cab (with opening doors), snow plow, wide wheels (for the Dune Buggy) and stock tires, for the stock tires you can chose two kind of wheels, steel rims or chrome. Thank you Gaute!
  5. I need to put this build on stand by, I'm building a Jeep snow plow... You know it's winter... http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=97431

  8. Some more update... I will rebuild the snow plow attachment, the one in the kit is not realistic. Snow plow attachment that goes under the chassis. Chassis and snow plow attachments done. Another view.
