That's a crazy story Mark. The mailman usually deliver in this area looks pretty smart and do a good job, except that day. @BirdWatcher, I could, but I think a this point is easy to buy a new one. @ChrisPflug, LOL!!! I printed out probably 20 flyer and put in some mailboxes and post around here on Friday, but nobody returned my mail. I ask the mailman, but he did not remember my envelope. The funny thing is that I contact the USPS by email, and they did not reply, but they sent me an email with a survey, asking about their customer service and if I was happy with the response (that I didn't get)...

In my case, I don't blame to much the mailman, make mistake, error is human, it happen. The neighbor keeping the mail, that's not nice, above all when is not a junk mail...

Same here, it is faster drive 6 miles (one way) to go to another post office (bigger) than go to the one in my town, smaller and slower... To go back in topic, one time I saw a couple a the post office with a brand new ipad in the original box, and they put it on a USPS box, without nothing! They also ask tape, pencil a the postal guy. I never had any issue with USPS, and I ship internationally too. Except this week when I check a tracking number of a envelope from Wisconsin to here, it said delivered, but the mailman put it in the wrong mailbox. Inside there was PE parts... And no neighbor return it yet...

I can understand that they open it, maybe they did not pay enough attention, but why keep it there for so long. What they gain to do that? Make me wonder, how many times it happen with non tracking mail, and this kind of people keep/read your mail. Agree, pretty sure a neighbor got it. We left the house that night around 7:00PM, so I don't think they delivered that mail a that time. Plus it says that was delivered at 2:04PM, and make sense. I check the delivery of the package the mail man left a the door, and it says that was delivered at 2:06PM. I contact USPS via email, but they did not yet reply me. I did not chose the shipping method, because I never had any issue before.

Yes, lately I don't have too much time to build...

The PE was in a 7 ½” x 9" yellow bubble wrap envelope, and the label was printed. The PE are between two pieces of thin cardboard. Is not the first time that i buy from this seller, I know how he works and trust him. Probably who got it, and noticed that was not his mail, toss it... I should have check it last Friday, but we were going out of town for the weekend, and 1000 thing to prepare.

I need to tell you about this... A week ago I ordered some PE online, the seller told me that he ship them on September 3rd and sent me an email with tracking number. I almost forgot that I order the PE, so today I check online the status, and it says that it was delivered on September 5th! I was home that day, and when to pick up the mail immediately the mail man delivered. Not that I look out a the window waiting for it, like a dog , but that day I received also a package and when the mail man left to the porch he rang the doorbell. I ask one of my neighbor but he did not received it. It is kind of sad, that people keep your mail. Sorry for the rant...

The chassis is almost rolling... Body painted.

I was able to finish the Dumpster car this early evening and take to the club meeting, but I did not have take picture yet, so I will still post the step by step one. Body ready for primer. The engine is a Dauntless 225 V6, based on the Buick and is from the Jeepster kit.

I had some parts that I didn't know what to do, I didn't like to trash them, because for sure after I will need them. The other day I ran into a picture on the web about a car made using a dumpster. So I want o make it, I think it should be fun and also to have a break from other projects... I decided to use the postal Jeep chassis, or at least part of it. Next I add the front from another part chassis I had, and radiator from a Jeepster, the rear axle I have not idea.. Fenders from a Jeepster. Body from paper...
