Stolen cuda found but owner can't get it back
Brizio replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I don't know how the condition of the car was when Sitton bought in early 2000. But if you buy a drag racing Cuda, you vill transfer the title asap end bit the BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH out of it... At least, I would do so... The question is... He parked a running car in the storage, or a semi-rolling chassis? Looking a the picture it looks too clean to be sitting in a storage for years... Sitton also say that he over the year spent money on the car, for what that's why he did not want give it back to the owner. I don't get it. He spent money for doing what on the car? There is nothing on it left... -
Bartoletti Transporter and the Daytonas Coupe... Last Update 5/28
Brizio replied to Brizio's topic in WIP: Model Cars
I know that HRM has a transkit for it, but there is no engine for what I been told. Also they told me that there is a waiting list up to 90 days, but now seems that nobody know when HRM will start to work on some order again. For what I understand, HRM is one man operation. Little spendy... -
Stolen cuda found but owner can't get it back

The owner had his car back, or part of it, since the car is missing pretty much all... Here the guy that had it for the last years interview by Lars Larson Show. https://soundcloud.com/thelarslarsonshow/lee-sitton-tries-to-justify-why-he-should-be-allowed-to-keep-richard-whites-stole-1970-cuda -

Bartoletti Transporter and the Daytonas Coupe... Last Update 5/28
Brizio replied to Brizio's topic in WIP: Model Cars
I think I had to use the wheels from the kit. I contact few places that sell the HRM wheels, some did not reply and who reply don't know how long is the waiting list... -
Probably the model that disappointed me most, is still the Postal Jeep. It is a full resin kit in 1/24, the chassis is kind of rubbish, you can wist it easily. The roof it is chopped although the kit represent a stock postal Jeep, there are also some errors on the doors. Also the decals are not good, there are decals for build it in two options, but the stripes are short, and not enough for the side of the Jeep, plus is missing the stripe for the back. All this for $70.

Keep an eye out for stolen 62 Vette
Brizio replied to Scalper's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Hopeful he will have it back soon. And hopeful is not like this guy on the link with his Cuda... http://www.hotrod.com/news/stolen_1970_cuda_found_after_14_years_still_not_returned_to_owner/?sm_id=social_20140718_28104226 -
For what I saw, mostly of the people that want a replica of their car, they look to have a model that has the same paint of their car, but could be little off in some details, like different wheels etc. I remember a guy show me his 1/1 cars and in the garage there was some model cars too, so I ask him about. He told me that he collect only model cars that represent replica of his 1/1 cars. He had a few die cast too. He picked up a model ( I think a Chevy from the 50's) and told me that this was his first 1/1 car, but his 1/1 car was white and blue, and had blue interior, the model was white and yellow, with yellow interior. If he is your friend, you can build them for free, the only things you can ask is to pay for paint, primer, and tell him that up front. I personally built a few models (for free) for friends, relatives, of their "dream" car, or replica of their 1/1 car, and I was very happy to build them a model. Few years ago I built a copy of my Hemster for a "special kid", and his uncle enter it to a model club meeting, where he belong and where you vote for the model of the month. He enter it with his name. Since then I stop build model for friend. Here the Hemster (right) and the Copy (left). The big difference is that the Hemster has written on the side Hemster, the Copy HEMI, the Hemster has custom license plate, the Copy the one that came with the kit, the Hemster has antenna, the Copy not. The Hemster has more details also under the hood, that the Copy doesn't have.

Cool collections guys! I add myself to the guy that destroyed some of those cars... I still have all of them displayed on a cardboard box, with Majorette, Hotwheels, Corgi... I also played a lot with Brumm, Rio, Polistil, Bburago and other 1/43 cars... I still have around 5000 cars, from 1/87 to 1/8. The nicer one are on display cases, the other are the one I played with my brother and are the one displayed in several cardboard boxes.

Bartoletti Transporter and the Daytonas Coupe... Last Update 5/28
Brizio replied to Brizio's topic in WIP: Model Cars
I'm on a break with this build. I'm little torn about the wheels/tires, use the one that came with the kit, or order the HRM one. If I order the HRM I need to wait up to 90 days... That a lot, I was hoping to have those cars done this or next month. -

I saw different military truck, half track, etc and they are fascinating, thinking that they were built over 70 years ago. Tom Daniel's is more artistic, and his own interpretation. I like both. -
kits you just cant bring yourself to build.
Brizio replied to ianguilly's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I buy kit for build them, unfortunately it take time... The only kit that I own and will not build is this, a 1948 Jeepster. -

It could be! For sell people use a lot of strategies... Plus who know if the seller is really a woman, if you look a teh picture of the AC adapter, the hand that hold it to me looks more a man hand... http://www.ebay.com/itm/SAMSUNG-TRAVEL-AC-ADAPTER-MODEL-TADO77JBE-/291177292105?pt=US_Cell_Phone_PDA_Chargers&hash=item43cb84e149

Bartoletti Transporter and the Daytonas Coupe... Last Update 5/28
Brizio replied to Brizio's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Thank you all guys!!! The white metal parts need some works because are not straight, I had to put all the chassis on a flat glass, to check if everything is straight and equal in all the three chassis. Good idea on cut the hood, I might copy it. I try the chassis with the body and it is little bit tricky. I start to work on the wheels, oh man... A lot of work for clean them... Later I will post pics. -
Thank you all, really appreciate!!!
