  1. Very nice!
  2. Thank you Tommy! Now I posted the picture Under Glass. Thank you Cliff!!! Here the link Under Glass. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=90271
  3. Just finish it, I cannot believe it is done. The kit is the Fujimi Porsche 356B/C Coupe in 1/24 that pretty much is stock, except the first thing I had to cut the roof to make it convertible or Cabriolet, replaced the engine with a more appropriate one. I'm very happy with the paint job, it went smooth since day one, cannot believe that. Here the WIP http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=87788&page=1 The picture after I changed my mind and made the roof down. As usual my models need to pass the dogs test... With Janis.
  4. Good job, love it!
  5. Very nice!
  6. Thank you Micheal for the tip, but I used some cloth that I already had at home. Here the soft top folded, still need all the locks and handles. The rear, I also put a glass in it.
  7. Thank you Jeremy! Thank you Tom!
  8. Late I post the pics of the softop. Thanks! Thank you Shaun!
  9. I like the 356 Coupe instead of convertible, and I though that make it with the soft top closed it looks more a Coupe. But now watching the pictures, I think to build a soft top, and leave it open. I need to build it for two reason, one is because The kit I start was a Coupe, and does not have convertible roof. GeeBee was so kind enough to send me the one in the picture. Second because Janis Joplin had in different picture the car with the roof down, and there is no cover on it, so you can see all the folding mechanism. Here I start using to cut on a piece of paper the parts of the roof to make a template and later cut a piece of cloth that simulate better the soft top material.
  10. Thank you Andre! No I made it. Thank you Andy!
  11. Some more... And now back to work on the folded top... It never end...
  12. The car is finally done!!! Very happy! But now that I look a teh picture, I think it looks better without top...
  13. Thank you Henry! The car is done, but I'm thinking to remove the top. It is sunny out... The car is done, just finished. Maybe, I have some some US that I would like to build... I don't know if you can define them Muscle, but... They are very coool!!!
  14. The soft top is done, I cut the side windows from the windshield and attached on it. Inside is painted in light sand, and made/attached the sunvisor.
  15. Forgot about the interior, yes it was/is stock. There is a 1/1 356 close replica that has fuzzy white seat cover. I almost forgot but I told him...
  16. Looking good!
  17. I wasn't afraid too much after all about the clear, I used the flat clear on the same color I used on this car, but you never know. Also because was a new rattle can. One time happened to me that same situation, that the clear lifted the paint. That sucks big time... Above all because was a scratch build model car, built using paper... And I couldn't use any liquid for remove the paint, I had to sand it off... I can propose it to Danbury, sending picture of mine when done. Thank you Glen! Thank you G!
  18. Very nice James!
  19. Yes! I cannot believe it, it looks a never end project, but now I'm pretty much done. I put teh body on the chassis and start to put headlight, later maybe I can work on it little more and take some pics. Thanks Shaun!
  20. Thank you Andre! Thank you Glenn, the body is on the chassis, maybe later I can work on it little more.
  21. Some more progress, I cannot believe that I'm getting close to finish it! The rolling chassis is ready for the body. A little wash on the bottom, I did not wand to make it too dirty. Just little bit.
  22. Thank you Glenn! I actually learn a lot about painting on this car. Thank you Henry!
  23. Thank you Danno! Thank you Steve! Thank you to follow it, I had a lot of fun painting it, and it went all smooth, I was really impress myself that all went so.
