  9. Thank you Paul! I knew about those sets, but I couldn't find to buy them. The one about the engine work only on the engine that come with the kit that is good until 1955, after the engine is different, more like a VW. Next week I will make the side chrome strips, and hopeful I can finish it.

  11. Ok thank you Marshall, I will put the chrome. Thank you John! It should be close enough, because I draw the chrome strip to help me out to sketch the paint job. Good idea on use the tape. Thanks!

  13. Interior looks great!
  14. Thank you David! Thank you Ken! I only try to copy the original. Now I need to keep my finger cross for the clear coat.
  15. It happened to me,on some 1/8 tires that are probably 25 years old, because they got smashed but some die cast cars and other toys that were in the same box. I made some plastic discs and put them inside the tires, now they looks good. I will also before remove the discs to put the tires in a bowl with war water. Will see if it fix them. For your tires, try to sand more to make them more uniform.
  16. Thank you Shaun for your comments and support! Thank you Cliff! Glad you stop here and comments! Really appreciate! Agree on the chrome strip, and I will add it.
  17. Looking good!
  18. Bird and trees are finally done. A close view.
  19. I know that, I was sarcastic...
  20. Thank you Shaun! I'm still torn... I will make the trim, and after flip a coin .
  21. I can always make it, leave it without and if there is a buyer that offer all that money, (I think it will be easy win the lottery... ) attach the chrome trim. Thank you Kevin! Thank you Ray!
  22. Looks nice, yes the clear will make stand out a lot.
  23. Agree with his good point. I need to flip a coin!
  24. Thank yo Dominik! Tom you have a great point about the replica and accuracy. I'm little torn, the car will be not a perfect replica anyway for a few factors. The paint job, it is as close as I can reproduce it in scale, for be perfect, I should have measure every inches of the paint job on the real car for have a perfect replica. Same for the shade of paint I used, they looks close, but they will be not exactly the same. Also the tires, the kit came with tire without brand. I was able to find thru a friend 5 Michelin X tires from another Fujimi kit, they are periodically correct but who know what the 1/1 car had in origin, it could have Continental or Dunlop. Probably they were Continental (Conti radial tires) because of the missing of other optional on the car. I know that the chrome strip is more noticeable than the tires or paint. Maybe I should make the 3 piece chrome trim like you said for accuracy. Thanks! Here the right side.
