WOW! outstanding work..What do you use for clear coat? and is it from a rattle can or airbrush..Real sweet work..
-
Only three but by the looks, the three best done models displayed on any site I've seen today..Unbelievable quality and the Chevy, just can't describe the workmanship..Excellent and super well done..
-
Welcome aboard Jimmie, looks like you've got the right attitude..First off, I hate the Toronto Maple Leafs, never liked them since childhood (I'am 73) but remember their last Stanley Cup win 1967..You obviously have the skill since you are an aircraft military model builder..This site is good except for guys like me who don't have a real great hockey team that just loves to beat the Leafs..WELCOME ABOARD..ENJOY..

Very nicely done and the cleanliness is unreal..Very well done..
-
I've found that even before primer shoot some silver colored paint..I use Duplicolor Perfect Match Toyota/Nissan silver..Then primer..Silver somehow keeps the bleed through away..
-
Was out today and home by 1:00 and the sun sure makes a difference..Check AccuWeather..Its from the US but is accurate to almost the hour..Not like the Canadian weather stuff..

Usually I don't like wheels and tires that you chose but they sure do suit the car..Going to be sweet when finished..
-
I made a subscription because you can't find the magazine in any book stores or the two hobby shops we have in Winnipeg Canada..Can't wait for #211..
-
Riley the ends are hollowed out from Monogram and I will get to painting them black..Thanks..
-
Don't forget to paint the bottom of the interior same color as chassis,it will be seen through the opening for the driveshaft....Chassis/Body/ under hood all body color..
-
Just got my issue 210 and being a new subscriber from many years ago, I'am very pleased with the content in 210 and looking forward to #211..Excellent magazine and put together very well..

To be honest the kit was all there except the decal sheet which didn't bother me because I'am not a good decaller(if thats a word)..Stripe delete...Lol..

1970 Dodge Challenger..Pass side mirror delete and stripe delete..Painted with Mopar Plum Crazy(dealer touch up) followed by Duplicolor Perfect match clear..Wet sand and polished with Meguiars Scratch X2.0 then Meguiar's Gold Class paste..Dust is extra from show at meeting..Impala is painted with Krylon pale yellow with Duplicolor Acrylic Enamel (tall black can) followed with wetsand and same process as the Challenger..Comments both good and bad..I like criticizms so I can improve on the product..

Fantastic looking build, colors and stance are perfect..And although I'am NOT a fan of different wheels and tires, those look perfect on that car..Excellent build and you should be proud of your work..Very well done and super clean...

He showed years ago he was going to a car show somewhere close to where he lived..I asked him for an XL Shirt from the show..He said he would..Sent me the shirt (that I still have in the box) I sent him the money for the purchase..Never met the man but he was an honest person who kept his word for a stranger in another country whom he only knew from some site..Thank You Albert and may you REST IN PEACE...

Both are very nicely done..Clean work with all the opening doors and trunk..Out of the three 68/69/70, the 69 is my favorite..That style of Charger/Coronet/Belvedere of those years were the best for Ma Mopar..They looked fast just sitting still..Just my opinion but they even looked better than the Daytona/Super Bird version of those years of "B" bodies..The 68/69 Charger were the nicest cars Dodge ever produced..

AMT '58 Plymouth Belvedere - Improving that side trim
moparfarmer replied to Smitty's topic in WIP: Model Cars
You've done some pretty extensive work on that side trim..Looks much better.. -
Don't forget to paint the bottom of the interior to match the color of chassis..The driveshaft hole shows on the bottom..I like whats happening on this build..I did one in B5 Blue and did a post version..Had one just like it..Unrestored original that was featured in Hemmings Muscle Machines in June 2014...
