  1. Welcome Bill from another Canadian, I'am from Winnipeg with relatives in Sherwood Park..We will be able to boast of our hockey teams shortly..Enjoy the site and that 32 3 window is da bomb..
  2. We don't have Hobby Lobby in Winnipeg Canada..Thanks anyway..I did find one at one of our shops where I deal but never check model stock..They only usually carry about 50 car/truck kits at a time..
  3. That Imperial looks very classy..I always thought that Cadillac was the classiest looking 59..Until I looked at a 59 Imperial at a car show in Sioux Falls SD years ago..It was light metallic green with matching interior..What really set it off was the thick swivel seats and the dash..Beautiful..
  4. Who would have thought that a 59 Imperial would be a seller two or three years ago? Try and find one..Never really wanted one but did find one and bought it..Would be a nice slump buster..Haven't opened it yet but thinking a nice light lavender shade with white and body color interior built stock..
  5. Sad to hear of your loss of a family member..Hoping to see the Coronet at NNL North 2021..If we can get across the border by then..I've only got three years left on my pass port..Government screwed me out of a year closing the border..LOL..Also sure miss seeing my grand kids in the Cities..
  6. I agree on all what Steven said in his above post..He should know..His builds and paint jobs are fabulous.
  7. Duplicolor primer is all I use..I've found that the large tin now says fine filler primer but is the same..It seems a darker grey but the Perfect Match primer is lighter grey..Its the best primer for all uses..Its lots less expensive too and a big can lasts quite a while..Also has the fan spray which is good..
  8. I have given the owner the message but he's in the hospital now so it will have to be when he gets out..Thanks..
  9. I sure hope my Local Hobby Shop, Cellar Dweller in Winnipeg is able to strike up a deal to be a dealer for the magazine..I'am sure it would sell very fast in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada..There are quite a few members of this site from Winnipeg..
  10. By the look of the pictures I was wrong..
  11. That is how I build..Haven't got dexterity or patience to wire/plumb all the stuff most do..Very clean and well done model that will show well on any table..You should be very proud of your build..
  12. Seeing on the Spotlight board that some subscribers are still waiting for their issue 2007(latest) issue..Hope you are going to be regular on subscriptions not like before..Want to hear of regular mailings before I commit to two year subscription..
  13. No, there actually was a picture of them putting 200 mph tape over the bubble from the vinyl lifting up..
  14. Very nicely done..Interior idea is great and looks good too..Full wheel covers..Good memory from being 5 yrs old at the time..Sweet/clean build....
  15. 1962 Chev Bel-Air bubble top mid 90s
  16. Hope the Coke kits aren't molding in ugly red plastic..Makes for more work and is hard on the eyes taking off flash..
  17. Mike are you closing in the chassis and reworking the body like Maurice Petty did? He said years ago that the RR of 68 Daytona was the most cheated up race car he's ever built..Him and Dale Inman did great work..
  18. Excellent..When that show was at Raceway Park in Shakopee Mn I did the announcing for the two days until 2006..Enjoyed it and the Midwest Mopar Club treated me with class and respect..Great show then and now and thanks for the video..Much appreciated..Some of the cars I recognize and bring back memories..
  19. Thank you, will let them know tomorrow..
  20. We need a dealer in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada..How about Celler Dweller Hobby..They've tried to get a hold of you but can't..Site isn't user friendly for Canadian Dealers..
  21. I really like how you professional model builders are able to make black interiors look fantastic..Well done..
  22. If you want correct engine paint go to a Mopar dealer and order a bomb of it..One bomb will last you a lidetime..BTW the bottom of the bellhousing is the same color as the rest..
  23. Very nicely done..That tan interior is rare on those cars..Had a friend who had a B7 Hemi Cuda with a tan interior..So called geru Galen Govier said one never existed and said you couldn't order one..Friend copied build sheet and told him where to go and he thinks he knows everything, which he doesn't..Got another friend who had a car authenticized by him twice as being said car..Car started out as 383 Coronet convertible..Your model is excellent but I bet there are a few out there with the same serial # as per your decal..
  24. I know it would be a waste but make it fly..
  25. If it was factory the door panels and back panel would have been white too..
