  1. Thanks Gene!
  2. Thanks Danny!
  3. Thanks Elvin...it was a lot of work to get the body smoothed out.. The body is made up of 5 separate pieces not including the hood, it all required fitting, filing, putty, and sanding.
  4. Thanks Mike...all decals used were from the kit.
  5. Thanks Elvin!
  6. Thanks Dave! Hope all is good in Sunny Ohio....
  7. Snake...the Clear we were referring to is Duplicolor Acrylic Enamel, it just happens to also be called "Crystal Clear". The Duplicolor has no issues with coverage, the Vette only took 3 wet coats to achieve a nice shine.
  8. Thanks Chris...my cans all just say "Crystal Clear". In my experience this has paint been very sensitive to humidity, anything above 65-70% and it goes on milky and dries less glossy. It looks like you're in Florida so that could be an issue. Also...Thanks Mike and Pat!
  9. Thanks Don... Thanks Larry...
  10. Thanks Don!
  11. Great Subject matter and awesome execution! Love the paint.
  12. Thank You all for taking the time to look and comment.
  13. Hard to go wrong with metal flake on an early 60's drag car?
  14. Great example of how good a simple but well built model can look! Well done and very cool?
  15. Rick...both the windshield frame and the roll bar were redone with Aclad Chrome. Both had flash and mold lines plus I removed the molded in windshield wipers from the windshield frame. Thanks to all for taking the time to look and comment...
  16. Kit bashed with AMT 55 Nomad, Duplicolor rattle can paint, and a few pieces from the parts box. Thanks for lookin'... OH yeah, and Slixx Decals.
  17. Thanks Guys...this is a good kit. Even though the tool is over 50 yrs old the kit had very little flash or mold lines and there is a bunch of extra parts.
  18. Wow Bernard...that is lookin' good! Nice choice of subject matter too, some of the most interesting cars in drag racing.
  19. Thanks Brian/Keith...there were already a bunch of these done in white like the box art so I decided to try a different color.
  20. Thanks Snake!
  21. Thanks Guys, appreciate the feedback.
  22. Added a couple of little things, exhaust tips and valve stems. Testers Icy Blue Lacquer with Testers Wetlook Clear. Thanks for lookin'....
  23. Well done Mike....very clean, love the lime green and white color combo, I used the same colors on a 3 window a few years back. Great looking 32!
  24. Very nice! The extra details you added definitely make the model.
  25. Nice job Phil...you nailed the stance, it sits just right!
