  1. Another outstanding build! Man I love your work!
  2. Glad to hear it! It even took off the messed up yellowed base coat on my AMT Duster. Now it is time to spray it with Spazstx.
  3. Here is one that I have been putting off as I just was not sure I could make it work. It is a resin body and chassis. The body is the thickest casting I have ever worked with and nothing really fits right. Already there is countless hours of sanding and shaping and still lots to go. Wish me luck!
  4. I really like them But as Mark said they take cleaning and prep work. Make sure to test fit everything. I have built several Pro Stock Hemis and one injected 392. I gave one as a gift to a friend and he did not care for it. Just not his cup of tea. The other thing I see is the Hemi is a bit larger then most kit motors and can cause fit up issues but nothing that can't be fixed. I think they look great.
  5. Great Job! That car a terror! I have the story on the Bullet. Loved how they talked about Jim Wangers of gto fame wanting nothing to do with racing the Bullet. Your build is stunning as always! Thanks for being back great memories!
  6. Steve I am sooooo jealous of your MoPar collection! :o
  7. I just used Windex to remove the totally hideous chrome AMT was kind enough to put on the bumpers of the Duster I am working on.
  8. You do great work! This turning out fantastic!
  9. A really nice Pro Stocker. Very cool detailing and decals. I love that you took the time to lengthen the body to make it look correct. Sorry to hear about the body damage. It is still a really sharp Mustang.
  10. Very cool indeed. Looks great. Well done.
  11. Very, very nice work. Love the paint.
  12. Here are my favorites.
  13. Hey Russ Sean D also has a very nice Pro Stock Duster build posted here on the work bench. He has done some really great work on it.
  14. A very cool funny car. Looking good.
  15. This is very interesting. I have never used brass for making a chassis. It is looking very nice.
  16. Hi Guys Here is what I am playing with now. I am trying to clean up the paint but am not sure if it is going to avoid a bath in the purple pool. It is a AMT Duster which I have never built before and is giving me some issues. If it turns out it will be a replica of the car Herb McCandles drove for the Sox & Martin team.
  17. Now this is going to get interesting! Keep us posted please.
  18. Outstanding work! Love the dash and the head lights. You paint looks terrific. Very well done.
  19. Thanks guys. The metallic part is in the lettering. Here are two examples. I can get the back ground art work and was going to print on gold to get the lettering. I did something similar on another build. The car was dark green so clear decal paper would not cover. I printed on white paper and set the back ground color to dark green to match the car and it looks pretty good. So I was hoping to do the same on gold. Maybe I am over thinking this.
  20. I contacted BMF and they told me it was not usable with a ink jet. I have found a printable polyester film that is self adhesive but I am affarid it will be to thick. http://www.hyaz.com/inkjet%20gold%20%20silver%20self%20adhesive.html Thanks for the reply.
  21. Hello I am trying to find metallic gold and silver water slide decal paper for an ink jet printer. I have found some for a laser and some that is not water slide. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Roger
  22. In resin I see R&R resin has one listed. http://www.rocketfin.com/resin_product.cfm?id=3014
  23. Great looking build! Love the the wheels and colors. Super clean and sharp.
  24. I know words are empty and do not ease the pain. I am sorry for your loss.
