The software you use may also impact colors. If whatever you are using gives you options, like spot color, CMYK, RGB, see if changing color type halps. I have been involved in a few decal companies. DNL Hobbies was screen printed but that meant 500 copies or more. We started experimenting with laser decals it took a lot of work and failure. Most print shops did not want to run decal paper through, back then, their $4K printer. Then ALPS came on the market and changed everything. good luck

Monogram 34 Ford's over the years
Dave Van replied to junkyardjeff's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I like the Monogram 34 Ford kit warts and all!!!!! I do wish they would back date it to the Green coupe version. In a dream world they'd retool it back to the 1960's era kit!!!!! I can dream!!!! -

I can confirm it is a JNJ decal. We were the biggest JNJ dealer at the time. A license issue mad it a generic sheet. I always stopped at CROWN gas when I lived in Charlotte......but they are all gone now. My build.....what decals do you need???

AMT '75-'76 NASCAR Matador question
Dave Van replied to Monty's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
This issue of the Matador NASCAR kits had the stock grille on the chrome tree. All other versions DID NOT. Owning a reall 74 Matador coupe I have every model Matador I know was made including some 1/64 die cast that had a short run. BTW: These cars were and are ahead of their time. Mine has the 304 / 727 combo, big disk brakes and fat sway bars front and rear. The car still drives much like a modern car considering it's FIFTY years old!!! The 304 is about as good as the 302 Ford....and very much alike with lots of FORD parts. All from the factory. Thx
