  1. Nice clean build!!! Is that the Revell Monogram 1/24 kit??? I just bought one to build my 66 2+2. I am sending it to a restoration shop Tue and I am building a model like I want the car so the guys at the shop know what I want the end result to be. Even though I own a 66 Mustang....never built the kit.....any issues???? Again nice work!
  2. RETRO box was not changed.....happy molded white too....... Got two on order but yet to get them.
  3. I have a few of those kits put back.....you gave it a steam punk look!!
  4. There are also some very nice photo etch toggles...... They are a SS ring and a paddle handle that you attach to the center of the ring.
  5. IIRC there are 4 kits.....two different versions of two different kits. One a 6 wheeler the other a 4. They say 1/24 but in mock up seem perfect to go with 1/20 kits.
  6. Love it!!!!! I like car and sci-fi models....so this is perfect!!! Have you seen the 'future' F1 kits from Japan???
  7. A very cool build....perfect stance...... one suggestion....... the decal on the door looks like it has some silvering under it. It may just be the photo....but if it does have some apply a drop of Walthers Solvaset to the decal and use a new sharp pin to stick just the decal film...not the image...and the Solvaset will eliminate the silvering.....
  8. Just ordered one for FREE!!!!!.....well using my Amazon points anyway....thanks for the info. I built many Tamiya R/C cars when I worked in a hobby shop.....all their stuff is nice.
  9. Very nice work! I like the kit too....simple as it is......
  10. WHY?? Many reasons.....most can't go into here. Just stay tuned. But it is correct many of the desirable promos and kits are LONG gone.
  11. It's coming but no ETA yet. Been in the works for a year or so. Kool decals in it and we have something for it too. Plastic axles IIRC.
  12. The REAL Gone in 60 Seconds!!!!!! I love that film and all it's great cars......also the Satellite that gets hit......hate it's fate....love the car!!!
  13. I need one for my movie car collection. Anyone else see 'Mystery Men'??? Panned by all....but I love it...campy film with lots of great folks.
  14. They have been slammed since they announced the closing....was about two weeks.......now depends on what you order and if it is in stock. No real way to tel now.
  15. Funny now as Revell DID have a model of a kitten!!!!!
  16. One of my all time favorites too....... I have a bunch of AG stuff.......including a first day lobby poster.....
  17. I like paper as a media and build a number of paper kits........but mine are all structure kits for my model railroad.
  18. Correct Ira........the build was destroyed when a shelf collapsed years ago....I had to save this little part as it was the start. I plan to build it again....... Thanks for your years of work shared.
  19. That chain drive is INSANE!
  20. 1/16 scale Duke's are in stock now too if anyone wants one....
  21. Ploughboy is a Holden wagon........
  22. Nice Lookin' Build there Dave, but that Poor Girl looks like she just got hit with a Cattle Prod! Why do you think they were parked in the very dark lot????? Great personality though......
  23. I kinda like it on the truck chassis.......reminds me of the 'People Eaters' car in Fury Road.
  24. Correct....forgot that one.......such an odd pick......wish they had picked a more popular.......the 55 Chevy would have been cool.
  25. As for plastic kits. MPC Milner's 32 fair at best That is it as far as AG plastic kits. Revell did Milners 32, Bob's 55 and the white T-Bird in die cast 1/25 scale. There are others available in other scales by different manufactures including Revell in 1/64 that had 1/25 figure included. As for making your own.....a few easy....some not so much..... I believe Revell had plans for a 58 Chevy of Toad but canceled it. We ended up with the kit later in plastic. Here is my version of what could have been.... The 55 Chevy is easy with the AMT 55 post kit and a few extra parts. The lowrider Merc is harder as it's a 51.....but we have the basics. LOTS of other star cars can be done...... My version of the T-bucket Milner is seen talking to the driver while the cars are cruising the main street.......while the T-bucket girlfriend sits bored.....
