I am so sorry to say . These were Made in China . The Tooling seems to get "lost there" . SOP doing Business with that Nation . I've read accounts about this for years now . They seem to be unable to make the Berillium Steel required form superior injection molds . Plus the cost factor . Melting down and reusing V/S making New Steel . Cheaper Products are made through lower costs . Consumers don't know how these Manufacturing Costs are reduced as a Rule . I'm not sure of the Spelling of the particular name of this Steel . These are all great and beautiful builds . I build Factory Stock . So you now what builds I favor here . Mu Only 2018 Build due to illnesses This one is a stalled , for 20 years , a true Junk Yard Rod . I acquired the body in a guess what buy at a Hobby Show in Toledo , Oh in the '90's . A box of leftover parts not sold at the few moments of the Show . The only part sourced from an inbuilt kt have is the Flathead V/8 & Zepher Transmission from the AMT '29 Ford Woodie . I do stray every so often , here goes . Body : '25-'27 Model T Coupe . This date due to one piece windshield and Wiper . Driver's side , manual . No Title work was available . Accordingly Built and Titled with a Builder's Title . Filled roof to eleminate the possible leaks . A fabricated Steel Firewall Sporting a Chopped roof , due to Roof / collision damage . Z'd Frame and a suicide dropped front axle . '37 Ford Pick up tube axle . Triple cored Custom Fabricated T Shelled Radiator . Hopped up Flattie , HC Heads , Dual Stromburgh '97's . Wheels /Tires/ juice from a '39 Ford Brakes . Bone Yard parts : Steering Wheel , column , seat from unknown . Cover is a beige with blue strips that were Large Window Curtains re-purposed . The Twin Taillights (TBL*) are rescued re-purposed . The Headlight Buckets are also . Due to expense , the limited amount of high dollar Chrome is two Headlight Bezels . Two Taiilhghts is TBL* . One Plate State issue is required TBL* . Side to be displayed is not specified . The Tires are the Premium Western Auto on sale . The Exhaust is baffled TBL* fabricated , not store bought . Electric Chassis Mount Air Horn TBL . Battery is located under the passenger side of the front seat . Single Stage Juice Master Cylinder under driver's side front seat . Non such were Dual Safety Circuit (AMC thank you) or seat belts . The Fuel Tank is Frame Mounted and fills the Turtle Deck . Paint is MCW '57 Buick Apricot Laquere . 57 Coats , hand rubbed . The Pin-striping is '36 Cord Ivory . MCW Paint . The over-spray is from a recently finished paint job . All of the parts effected have not been Finish Over-painted . *TBL , to be legal . Enjoy .. I will share this about a High School Student I attended with him and knew . His Father , when he saw the Engine in his brand Spanking New '65 Mustang in April '64 , he smiled and said to his son . Hmm .. 289 with how many tiny horses . I knew we could do better and dug out a Supercharger from a '57 Stud Golden Hawk . The rest is History . He campaigned the Car weekly for years . Mr Obsessive is right . I use Whestlies . I then Use Ivory to clean away all that remains . It is 99.9 % Pure . No lanolin . Lanolin is great to keep your skin moist . Bad for paint . It Causes "Fish Eyes" in the finish . As does the fingerprints you leave on the subject you are painting . I use gloves and Tack Rags .. When I paint , it is a month long ordeal . Primer , fine sand /fix any flaws . Spot prime / blend for universal coverage . Fine sand . Sealer Primer . Color . Clearcoat . Yes , some still 'go swimming" . I wait until the paint cures . Not Gassout . Thanx .

Great save . I worked for years with the Help of Modelhaus rounding up missing Corvair Parts . I don't even admire Corvairs , yet here I am . I onned and tried to keep running one '60 MY 4 dr at 6 years old . I was 17 , the Car was worn out at 33 K . I could not fix it fast enough . This is a tribute build of the "White Pumpkin" Yes , the kit has a defect with the rear Valance trying to escape the body . My 1:1 was like this , I left it be I spent many Hours glaring at the underside . Constant Exahaust repair . Clutch Shaft R&R . Differential rebuild . Now if I can only replicate my smudged greasy hand-prints underneath . Thanx ..

Limos are slow but steady sellers . Mat Ling / Sunny has sold US Presidential Limos since the '80's . I would like to see and buy more of these beyond the ones currently available . The Gaz Limo was available in die cast , I've missed it so far . The '90's Lincoln (underscaled for 1/25) die cast sold well . The Same in 1/24 scale with the 2000 Body sold well .
