  1. WOW .. Thanx ..
  2. F&F cast both the Curtis and Muntz Jet back in the day . To find one of these now ? The Packard Predicta , '49 Packard Convertible Ed cast and sold these also .. Thanx ..
  3. My Original 1960 Release of the Double T had this Card in it . I've since acquired another . The Double Dragster had a Pocket Sized NHRA Rule Book in it . This I lack due to loss . The '68 Mustang Cobra first release (1968) had a little 33 1/3 Record of Carrol Shelby running a Cobra through the Course at (?) Seibring .. That l also have lost through time .. The Model B and V/8 Coupe Cards my friends had in the day . Thanx ..
  4. Quite a beauty . A TKM Slush Cast Model . Yes , I have one and the companion '55 . Both of these are stillborn WIP's . Your efforts are appreciated by me for one . Thanx ..
  5. Ok , how do I contact NEO . I think we might have a Tax Refund this 2017 Year ? Thanx ..
  6. "Out of the mouth of Babes" . She is a product of our Tax Dollars . Do you understand now why I am so disturbed about younguns ? We have Grandchildren . How long until she has a Star place in Darwin Awards ? Thanx ..
  7. What , where and how are NOE Lincoln Continental models for $100 please ? Do these really exist at the lower price ? Still out of reach for me , just curious .. Thanx ..
  8. Ok , I was brave and needed a challenge . I built an Original in mt first Collection . I re-created it again with an '80's (?) re-pop . Enjoy , It is doable ! The other pics are a Cautionary Tale . A warning to always Plastic bag your built models for Storage and or Moving . This way you find all of the parts .. From these only pics . My point is not so clear . Did I mention I do not like Windows 10 . It tends to lose things .. like pics Thanx ..
  9. This is from the '70's . The spacing in the Grille is a giveaway . This is a Tribute Build from a Calendar in the day . The Customer chose the colors and interior appointments . Has Toe out , I prefer steel axles . Getting the colors right is the only problem I had with this build .. Thanx ..
  10. Missing Link did a re-pop of the '11 Chevrolet . I did spread the word on 'another' Model Car Site . I did get a pair of thank yous from members there as happy recipients of that opportunity . I did not ask Kevin how successfully these sold . It is not any of my business . Yet , the first Toyad Corp Car , 1936 , is in the Marketplace . As for later later firsts , the DS 19 Citroen , as well; as the first ... ummm .. Honda Cars are current offerings . I keep up with these oldies .. IIRC , this is an AMM Conversion . Thanx ..
  11. Art , you do nice work . I have the Cords and regret not having the money to buy the Duesy . Excellent .. most excellent . Your Cord Flatback , is it Real or is it Model ? I like this WIP .. Thanx ..
  12. I do think it is a work of art . Quite believable as Real or Model .. You do nice work .. Thanx ..
  13. Yes on the scale metallics being perfect . I have the same WIP .. "I'm lovinn it" .. Thanx ..
  14. PM sent Ellen . I 've always admired tiis dio .. excellent .. Thanx ..
  15. I will try to short version this . I know I am long winded . Let's start with 1940 , Pick up and Coupe . Sourced from AMT Drag Racers . Rear Wheel cutouts too large for Stock . Suspension is half Elliptical Leaf , not 1/4 Elliptical as in the Kit . The Jeep Kit "Go Devil" Engine is perfect for all these Willis . The Transfer case for 4 wd is not for car or Pick Up . Interior and grille are to be scratch build sourced . Door Panels and Seat , I am stuck on . Bumpers ?? too .. The small amount of Body trim is scratched . The Flip Front is a challenge but doable to convert . The Kit Front Axle is presentable enough . The Differential is way to extreme . A Jeep kit sourced Diff (rear , not offset for the front Diff) is correct . I am making resin Copies for Engines , Diffs , Trans for myself . Slush Casting I am able to do . Dashes are correct as far as my research has shown .. The '38 Resin is a R&R .. I am not familiar with much on these . The same work for the previous Willis to reproduce a Stock version would be needed . The Revelle '41 Coupe all the same . A Grille divider to create the '42 MY will change the same kit . The kit has a rear bumper only . I bought 2 , one for just the Bumper . Way back in the day when I could generate the funds to do so . An exception would be the optional "Go Devil" Engine . It has "Compound Carbs" you were lead to believe only Buicks had . Both available only 40 & '41 MY's that were so optioned . 'Ole Timers have told me , the light Willis outran many Competitors . Willis Power to Weight Ratio was excellent . the "Go Devil" twin carbed Willis Bested most of the General's products . Gave Flathead Fords and Mercurys a run for their money . The other Revelle Drag Pickup is a Rare Vehicle . Civilian Car production was halted in Feb of 1942 . Truncating the '42 MY Production . All the Tooling was ordered mothballed . Willis was sanctioned to continue with Pick Up Trucks for Exclusive Military Destination and use . The '41 & '42 Willis P:ick Up Trucks were mostly the same as the rest of New car offerings . The Revelle Pick up is the '43 MY Pick up . Every one of these was assigned to the US Navy . Navy Gray and no bumpers . The kit's skinny little bar with the parking lights is an actual Stock part . Sans Chrome on the 1:1 . Concerning '33/'34 MY's , I have a Stock Height Resin from the past . Ed Fluck did cast this Body at one time . It would use the same components as the '40' Willis to convert these . My Version came with the Stock Starfish Wheels . Every one I described here are my WIPs . While each are stalled LTPs . I am admittedly retentive . Willis documentation and Photos are Hen's Teeth . Finding Factory correct Paint Charts was so easy to find . Pictures of Seat , dood patterns , bumpers and a few other details , not so much . Any help would be appreciated please ? Thanx ..
  16. Warning . Avoid dealing with reliable resins . While his parts are quality . He takes the money and runs . Continuous Reports are made here for years about this Vendor . Thanx ..
  17. Yes , it was . the early '90's . I ended up with too many ..lol.. I don't buy duplicates . This one I did .. Thanx ..
  18. I found this contact info for dave Dodge at <rocketfin.com/modelcarlinks> . One stop source .. check it out . This is for Resins .. Thanx .. mcwautofinishes@cs.com
  19. The Gap , leave it alone . The Panel Line is important . May I suggest some scraps of plastic to reinforce the joint unseen and underneath the hood and fenders .. Thanx ..
  20. I build Factory Stock . I will verify , Ed's items are tip top .. Thanx ..
  21. Wow , Ed , you do nice work sir .. Thanx ..
