  1. Rick, tell Duke to keep a draft cold for me 'til I get there! Great job on the race car. I grew up in the NJ/PA/NY area and can remember this type of car racing! Better than any Sprint Cup race! Good job!
  2. That's a really cool build! I like the color combo and the decals really make it "pop"! Great job!
  3. Simply stunning job! Paint, wheels, interior, it just all came together and it looks amazing! Good job, my friend!
  4. Color looks good, and your panel lines look real good! I would just try to lower it a little to make the stance more realistic, imho! Good job and thanks for sharing!
  5. I have always liked Vegas for some reason, and you have nailed what one should look like! Good job!
  6. Hey Curt, the car looks great! Welcome to the forum, you will find that the people on here are great, not like on some others! About the car, love the look of the chrome and the wings are awesome! Congrats on a cool build! p.s.-If you wanna get into the resin casting business may I suggest you start with Corvette C6-R wheels! Been trying to find those suckers forever!
  7. This is my Revell 1956 Chevy Nomad. Built mainly box stock except for the wheels which came out of my spares box. This has been sitting around not finshed for awhile now, so it's good to get it done. Color is Prowler orange with metallic black inserts. Just thought it looked good together. Bare metal foil to trim it out, and that's about it! Engine was built oob so I didn't take any pictures of it. C&C always welcome!
  8. Great race, it was awesome to see the Corvette crew get J Mag out in front of the Ferrari for the win! Kudos to Beretta and Gavin for their third place finish, too! Jake and the boys have officially served notice to the GT2 class that they will be the ones to beat for a long time! I too will be going to Braselton for the Petit, can't wait!
  9. I have never thought about using rubberized undercoat on the chassis, great idea! Anyhoo...looks good and I will be watchimg this one!
  10. That is just beautiful! Henry Ford's greatest design, imho! Looks good in primer, too! Do you remember who made this kit? Good job and welcome back.
  11. That is one gorgeous Camaro! Can't wait to see it completed! Keep up the good work!
  12. That interior is incredible! Great rescue job, you have really made that car look good!
  13. The wheels look like they were made for this van! Good job and thanks for sharing!
  14. Excellent job on that decal work! I really like it!
  15. Really good looking car! I opened the box on this kit many moons ago and took a look at all the delicate parts and decided to leave it where it was! So I applaud you for doing such a wonderful job!
  16. I agree with Harry, I've never seen a lowrider Firebird, but it works! Looks great and a completely original idea!
  17. envious and 20psi: I will try to get under hood shots for you! Saturnine: Yes, this is the Revell kit. You can build it stock as well. Thanks to everyone for checking out my post and thanks for the comments!
  18. Love the old Matadors! You have done a great job on it!
  19. The great thing about a '32 Ford is that no matter how you build it, it's gonna be awesome! Color looks good, and the vintage coolness of this ride just can't be denied! Good luck with your build!
  20. Your Caddy is coming along nicely. I will be watching this one! Is this the donks car or is it another issue? Keep up the good work!
  21. They both look great, if the internet was arond back then, these are the cars you would be seeing! Good job on both.
  22. The Chevrolet Corvette is one of my favorite vehicles in this world, the Jeep Wrangler being the other. This is Revell's version of the LeMans C5-R which would require alot of work to make it correct for the race. This project was started back when it first came out, and after trail and error, was put back in the box due to the crappy wheel placement and other fit issues. Now that I have more building experience, I took it out of the box and decided to finish it. Can't remember what I painted it with or anything like that, but I did clear it with Tamiya clear to give it more shine. C&C always welcome and thanks for looking!
  23. This kit is the Ryuichi Miki Silvia drift car made by Aoshima. Never seen a drift race, never seen a drift car in person. Went to the LHS one day, saw it, and decided to give it a go! Aoshima basically takes a stock Silvia and throws ground effects, wheels, and a wing on it and calls it a racer. I added a very basic rollcage and lowered it to give it a more aggressive stance. Seatbelts were also added. Paint is Tamiya gold with Future wax for clear. Carbon fiber provided by SMS. I really enjoyed the challenges of this car, if you want to do a little work to make a big difference, these kits are for you! C&C always welcome and thanks for looking!
  24. Hey everybody! Figured I've had enough lurking around looking at other people's work, it's time to put mine on here! This first one is a Honda Civic coupe that I just completed last night. After several repaints and a spell in the box, I decided on it's final color and stance. Red was created using inspiration from Bob and his Shelby Mustang. I first sprayed gold, then bright red, then mica red, and finally clear red before clearing it all and polishing it. All Tamiya paints were used. SMS carbon fiber on the mirrors and hood, wheels sprayed black and the stripe was applied by hand. Overall a fun build, and one that has been sitting around for too long not to be completed! C&C always welcome and thanks for looking!!
  25. I like the look of it, and the color is great!
