These hoods are now back on-line after being unavailable for many years! All fit AMT kits: '49 Ford teardrop hood '55 Chevy L88 hood '55 Chevy teardrop hood '56 Ford teardrop hood '57 Ford teardrop hood '62 Bel Air teardrop hood '63-'64 Ford Galaxie teardrop hood Send me a pm (or e-mail) to get your order in now while the molds are fresh! Keep in mind there is only one mold for each hood. If sales demand a second mold be made in the near future I will take the time to do so; but please be patient with me in the meantime. If everything goes well as far as sales I will start bringing back some more of my old hoods. I have around 30 of my old masters set aside that I could see bringing back; while some of the others weren't great sellers, were made for obscure out of production kits, or the masters are in poor shape due to age and storage (body filler shrinking or cracking, etc.)

I am now down to the last 8 '37 Chevy coupe bodies in stock. If you are interested in getting one of these don't hesitate! I've molded this body 3 times over the years; and sales dictate that a 4th time is not prudent. This body uses the AMT '37 Chevy coupe (stock roof) kit or the AMT '37 Chevy Cabriolet as a donor. Just swap the bodies out; and you are good to go! My chopped coupe resin body sells for $30.00 plus shipping. Send me a pm or e-mail me direct (even better) at lowcab36@epix.net. Thanks! Ed Here are some fine examples of what others have built (or started building) with this body!

Here are a few other recent additions to my catalog if anyone is actually reading this thread?! These are molded from original issue parts that have not been available in the AMT '40 Ford coupe and sedan kits since the original issues. The hoods ('40 and '39) are technically from the sedan kit. The only difference between the '40 Deluxe coupe hood and the '40 Deluxe sedan hood was the center hood trim on the front. It is slightly different; but very tough to spot; especially if you don't have one of each to compare. These were molded since almost all of the reissues (starting with the earliest reissues) had fitment issues; and the side trim has gradually disappeared........something still not fixed on the latest retro box art reissues.

1928 Ford Sedan 60's Style Altered UPDATED 2/10/19
krassandbernie replied to Dennis Lacy's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
You already know how I feel about this one Dennis! It just has the right look! Have you thought about (or tried) mocking up the reworked SWC Willys seats you got from me in this one by chance? I think they'd be perfect.......and traditional for this early '60's era build. -
I wanted to let you guys know that I have added more parts to my line-up lately such as this tuck'n roll interior for the AMT '53 Ford pickup kit. Feel free to e-mail me direct at lowcab36@epix.net if you see anything in my Fotki albums that interests you; or if you have any questions such as pricing and availability. Thanks! New tuck'n roll interiors
krassandbernie replied to krassandbernie's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I should also clarify that the post I made back in February 2016 should now be disregarded. I am not looking to trade for any of the model kits specified in that 2 year old post. Also, the molds for the '57 Ford interior have run their course. All I have is what is left in inventory that has been cast up for a while. I will not be bringing the '57 Ford interior back on-line again.......for sure. -

I just want to clarify for some members here that the retail price on the three interiors I am offering are as follows below. I was running a temporary sale for a short period of time on the '57 Ford and '57 Chevy interior as stated earlier in this thread; but that was three years ago. Each of these interiors are for the newer Revell kits. '50 Olds tuck'n roll interior.....just brought back on-line....$20.00 '57 Ford interior....currently have around 12 left in stock...$23.00 '57 Chevy interior...currently have less than 10 left in stock....might be able to cast up some more yet....$25.00 -

I must have missed it in the trash folder if it came through. Since I cleaned up my e-mail on Sunday I can't check back any further than Monday's e-mails. Would you kindly send another e-mail? I'll keep a look out for it now that I know what your e-mail address is. Thanks! Ed -

New tuck'n roll interiors
krassandbernie replied to krassandbernie's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I thought I would pop in here to let you guys know that I remolded the '50 Olds tuck'n roll interior again. It has been 6 years since I came out with it! I only made one set of molds this time (instead of two); so once they're gone this time I don't foresee a third round. The cost is $20.00 plus shipping. I also still have a limited number of '57 Chevy and '57 Ford tuck'n roll interiors left. Those will surely be going off-line for a while if not for good at this point in time. There are a handful of new items just added to my Fotki albums that are now available in my product line. Feel free to drop me a line if you are interested in anything or if you have any questions. '58 Bonneville Hardtop Back on the Bench! 3/20/18

Awesome work and attention to detail as usual John! I started back at page one and got caught up on this project again........love it! -
'32 Sedan Delivery Newstalgia Hot Rod: Updated 3/18/18
krassandbernie replied to Dennis Lacy's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Awesome work on modifying the wheels Dennis! I can't wait to see more.........as usual! -
I like the '70 Impala; and with the side windows (quarter windows) reshaped like that I can see it being a 'phantom' precursor to the '77-'79 Impala/Caprice. Giving it an aerocoupe back window instead of a fastback roof line might balance things out better and not make it look top heavy towards the rear........if it bothers you. I like your work! Now I want to try this out and see what it would look like! Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki

Fast Trax Resin '61 Falcon
krassandbernie replied to Mike999's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Well, not all casters do. I don't slush cast (never have); but I have been casting for over a decade without a pressure pot. If you know what you are doing you can get good results without one.......not that I have any problem with using one. In fact, I have one in the shop; but have not been able to acquire the rest of the parts and equipment I need to get it up and operational......like a new air compressor. It does limit how many times you can make a pour (casting) in a day though depending on the type of resin you are using. Norm (Replicas and Miniatures) told me that his resin takes 24 hours to cure; and I know he is using pressure pots. This means he can only make one casting out of a mold a day; where I can make 2 or 3 if I'm in a time crunch. -
chopped '37 Chevy coupe....last call
krassandbernie replied to krassandbernie's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I wanted to let you all know that I am running a special on these bodies now through the end of the week (the 25th to be exact). The sale price is $25.00 (plus shipping). The discount alone will cover the greater portion of the shipping costs in most cases! Feel free to send me a pm or e-mail (preferred) at lowcab36@epix.net if you are interested. Again, this body is discontinued at this point; and I am selling off what I have left in stock. Thanks, Ed -
`Polished Plastic ; Please Share'
krassandbernie replied to 1972coronet's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
This is the only polished bare plastic kit that I've completed. It was an original issue Monogram Blue Beetle; and I had more fun building this one right out of the box than just about any other model to date! I swapped out the front wheels and tires with sister parts from the Little Coffin so all four wheels would match. The rest was just brush detailed; and the interior was sprayed with white Tamiya primer. If I recall correctly I polished the body with Micro Mark's polishing compound or Novus. -
I had to catch it before it flew off the desk! Hosted on Fotki

I will be discontinuing this body now that the mold has run it's course. I do not have any plans on remolding this one again. If you have thought about getting one but haven't now's the time! I still have some bodies left in stock.........all ready to go; so no waiting period. Send me apm or an e-mail (preferred) if you have any questions. (lowcab36@epix.net). Thanks!
